I know what you mean.. I had two major accidents, and I was still fine with riding.. But all it took was one stupid uncle to forget to check blindspot when changing lane and hit me from the side.. Minor accident, only scratches.. But too traumatised to ride already..

I still using stock tyres, about a year already.

I have to say that they suck awfully in wet weather.

Must always remember tt cannot brake too hard. :sian:

Fishtailed more times than i can count, going to change tyres soon - just need to find the time.

Ah.. Advice taken. =x

Go change yours soon!!

I just want to say that, pls dont save the 160bucks for better tyre. We r 2 wheelers, not 4 wheelers.

If not enough cash, at least change the rear tyre.

No worries, safety above all. I believe in that too. =P

Ask ur friend to meet me, and guess my bike... wkwwkwk

I have repsol-word-bike also... but most people mistakenly as Secondary Student.. sigh..

Once upon a time, I covered my bike, but I only wore shorts and T shirt...

Then my neighbor asked me whether the bike is my father's bike or not..

Oh, thanks for the info. Is it the fairing where the Repsol words lie only? Or the full fairing including the fairing below ( the fairing below Repsol word fairing)?

Oh, I just want to change the Repsol fairing..

maybe can consider re-sticker it ( I mean paste a new Repsol sticker)

Yeah... my 100th post!!!!!!

Haha, congratulations! =P

hey. new cbr150 rider here. aiyooh.. bought my bike from mah... black colour.. but wanna do some changes in it... paintwork lah..any recommendation? or do at mah shop? insurance damn ex. duncare what type of bike lah.. if ur age is 19, means u're expensive enough. be it fairings or non-fairings, 2nd hand or 1st hand more worst! even cubs also ur insurance ex one.... no big deal. but cbr okla.. wan save fuel, 5 days can save. 4 stroke somemore. wad 4 get 2 stroke bike, think abt 2t and petrol onli.. kick kick kick like mad person... engine start even better, esp for ladies. like me lor.. hehe...

hello wah nowdaes i see so many CBR 150 riders liao are u the one stuck behind the lorie at bedemeer AS PHOON that day LOL

got alot of ladies riding cbr150r, syiok!

yah of course itz one of the bike that has been label as a ladies bike...

eheh. why? is it tat bad? like buying then think of respraying? becoz black colour, dangerous lah.. later all car cannot see esp at nite. at mah no blue or red stock yet.

dunt spray le stock color is always the best... wait until u die2 need to spray u knoe wat i mean...

m.p 7k. if include insurance will be 8k plus2.

but ok lah for a 1st hand bike, shld b no problem!

oh ok ok... but ya'll got go jalan2?

battlax eh? never heard of that eih. ? if stock one can get prob durin wet weather issit.?

the most important thing for a 1st hand bike is how u running in ur ride ride it 5 to 6 RPM change gear dunt over rev it... that ur bike will perform after 1k or 2k

after u change ur EO... the tyre is ok lah as long as u dunt speed or ride when raining... and Bridgestone battlax is one of the best tyre and very popular in singapore many rider use it... JALAN2 clear ur runin in thats a good idea... btw ur ridin KRR 150 or CBR 150

I just want to say that, pls dont save the 160bucks for better tyre. We r 2 wheelers, not 4 wheelers.

If not enough cash, at least change the rear tyre.

I went 2 year plus with the stock tyres (until selling it now).. I have to say, it was responsible for my first fall. Wet weather, rear braked too hard before turning in to SPGG and hit the gate. But after that, I learnt my lesson of not rear braking hard during wet weather and I've had no other problems with it. My other accidents were not the tyres' fault..

I just dont get it about the fishtailing and rear braking. Rearbrake is only for emergency, else u should use only front brake..It is all part of bike dynamics. When u brake, weight shifts to front and rear brake becomes less use and easy to start slipping. Front is much more effective and less chance of sliding unless very slippery surface. Of course, have to apply sensibly, start softly and increase pressure untill full brake.

Hence, if you want to change only one tyre, change front cause you need the grip more there for braking. But then better yet to change and maintain both tyres... its the only thing between us and the road, best to make sure it has proper grip!

Also, tyres also wear even when not used, when older than 2-3 years must also replace, because they harden and lose grip all the same so dont be fooled by nice profile on tyre.

My 2 cents ...
