guys, wanna ask .. ytd i pump petrol full tank but when start engine, the idling sound soft and then when apply throttle the engine died .. it occurs twice until the third time then when throttle, it rev up and stable. Do you guys knw the reason behind this ? carb overflow is it ? it happens like 3 times alrdy, one is when morning when want go sch skali this happen, aft the 4th time then can start, then the other one at sch want go home, then latest on is 2 days back, at Esso Sembawang.

 

1. Idling too low

3. Spark plug wet

4. Carburettor float spoil already.

5. CDI/Coil/Rectifier dying (unlikely)

6. You pump diesel by mistake... LOL!

Wanted to ask something regarding to duplicating of the keys.

Does CBR150's key has a chip in it or we can just duplicate it with any types of key?

my temp gauge is always at cold but yest when i ride from my hse at jurong west to toh guan to change EO n SP, e mechanic says how come my SP is hot as if m riding for very far...

I dun think so my coolant is empty though

don't think CBR150 got so high tech...

those w/ security chip in it are like Super4, etc.

does the temp gauge rise up to 1/4 mark after yr engine has warmed up?

if it's dead (all the way left) and doesnt move any bit when your engine has warmed up, then i think u have a cause for concern. i.e. temp gauge faulty

 

otherwise, if the temp gauge works fine, then forget what the mech has said.

i feel the mech is bullshitting you.

which spark plug is not hot immediately after you use it?

 

example:

you have 2 metal coins. u heat the 1st one for 15min and heat the 2nd one for 30min. is there a difference in the coin's temperature immediately after u finished heating it (assuming all other environmental conditions remain the same)?

same temperature right?

 

we are not talking about heating it for 5seconds versus 15min mah.

the above example makes reference to the estimated time required for u to travel from jln bahar to jurong east. i.e. 15min.

hi guys, jz nw when i rode from clementi to tamps, all of a sudden around tamps area traffic lite, my engine always stall, my idling is around 1.5k. usually no problem. then always engine stall, even at low speed turning also engine stall. when wanna start, like very hard to start. need to hold on to the starter for few secs. haiiiz. izit the battery or mayb rectifier?? thanks!!

Check petrol enough or not

Check battery connections, sometimes your ground cable for one of your accessories or + - side of battery come loose already.

bought new batt at regina. now engine start ok alrdy. but got another prob. now everytime when idling, sometimes engine stall. not only that,when i jerk the throttle, the engine will stall, then now have to really increase the throttle super slowly before moving on. any1 has any idea why/.

Carb overflow.... go and service your carburettor.... check your sparkplug if running too rich.

$20-$25 wash carb... you want cheaper u can try planet motorcycle but wait until you old...

btw guys, what's the use of changing our stock carb to SP carb ?? does it make any difference ??
