oh. the other thread say the thinner the oil, the better is the fuel consumption and smoother engine. but not as much protection. haha. think i better not try 5w40. too thin than for a moment of glory the engine die i also can die liao. haha.

ok lor, when we have another DIY session den we do ba but then it'll be after late april le cuz i'm gonna prepare for exams liao no time for all these le. sorry ah.

 

ya lor, u get the more reputable oil also a few bucks more only mah. thicker more protection to the engine better in my opinion, slower a bit on pickup nevermind de, we're not going racing anyway. :smile:

it is great. im running in now. b4 i got the bike, universal gave me 1-2 litres of petrol in between.

 

when i collected the bike, i wen to pump it full. 18.7 litres.

 

which means roughly full tank is 20 litres

 

as for the fuel consumption, nocomments yet.. but have since travelled 160km and the needle have not moved abit at all

Hey, for EO, it not just lubricate your engine, but sort of clean it also. When you drain your EO, it's thick and black. It's all the carbon and dirt, even metal filings from wear. To prolong usage of EO with all these will wear your engine instead of protecting it.

 

Just trying to advocate jilleen's change EO frequently theory :smile:
