err... sorry but your friends obviously have no idea how to "launch" their 2-stroke bikes. The CBR150 doesn't have a hope against them whether it be low end or top end. They put out HEAPS more power.

 

The only way you could beat them is if they dump it in gear at low revs like you would with a CBR150 and then slowly ramp up. This way their bikes will bog and hardly move. If they rev their bikes and slip the clutch keeping the RPM at 6-8k or more then they will be long gone before you even shift into 2nd.

Yes, there is a newer version. I think it's 2005 onwards.

1. It has a black frame instead of silver.

2. The side mirrors at the front are improved. (hinged)

3. The ignition lock is also different.

Apart from that I think the bike is pretty much the same.

well this club thinggie has been discussed before, it seems like nobody wants to be the president aka (do all the work), so if u're willing to be the organiser/president, then perhaps something can be worked out and started. :smile:
