guys.. today i check my rpm again.. at gear 6 7000rpm only 96kph leh.. like laggy so weird

maybe due to ur air fliter under fuel tank de dirty ba.. i juz change fliter and spark plug today.. think abt 8-10k km le lol.. that one as far i know dont change at first it will make random no power(sometime it will like no power to accelerate even when full throttle while sometime its alright).. worse is always no power if your one is same case as mine..

i agree w/ limbat

the problem most likely got to do with clutch cable or clutch plates

if clutch cable, probably cost u at most $20 to get it done

if clutch plates, probably ard $100+

the damage to yr wallet is still considered not extremely high

:goodluck:

clutch plates got so expensive meh? my Super 4's clutch plates cost less than 100 bucks woah.

CBR150R parts should be cheap de since it's honda thailand. too bad last time i didn't get to change my clutch plates if not can have a gauge of the price.

Something happening just happened about 1 and half hour ago.At Yishun carpark.

just as i was leaving the carpark, i noticed a suspicious looking indian man walking around like a drunk and looking in the cars and motorbikes there.

I just pretend to leave and hide at one corner where he can't notice me and rang up the police.(too bad didn't see any of our bros)Hee!

For those whom had lost any of your parts due to theft, justice had been done.

That b*****d had pulled out an iu unit from an NSR.

Owner of FS4**0J, most likely your iu unit is at the yishun north police station right now.Would definitely be more pleased if you are one of the fellow-forumer.

i'm at CCK central

heh

pic of my bike in my avatar

remember to wave to me when u c me on the road

clutch plates are located internally

cant c it frm outside w/o dismantling some other parts

anyway i guess some symptoms of clutch plate worn out could be:

- tend to encounter clutch slip when changing gears e.g. after changing into gear 3 suddenly the bike auto change back to gear 2

- loss of power

maybe other bros here can contribute??

anyway at gear 6 i could get 90km/h at 6K RPM

maybe yrs isnt that far off??

try to get some basic servicing done up 1st?

e.g. like what the other bros recommended: change air filter, engine oil, spark plug, etc

I cant see that the cbr would be heavy on cluth plates , I modified my race bike and supplied it with a slipper cluth, and widen the rims to 3.5 inc at back and 2.5 inc in front with white powder CBR 600 mono shock, and she turns like a Superbike, honda now how to make good bikes.:thumb:

mine is a rough quote too, cuz i changed many parts when i bought my S4 and clutch plates was one of them. anyway i sold off my S4 le and i'm starting to miss it already.

but i could vividly remember that my NSR SP's clutch plates cost 60 bucks when i changed it at SANFU about 2 yrs back so i will guesss that CBR150R's clutch plates will cost around the same as NSR's.

a tell-tale sign that clutch plates is worn out is when u move upslope and u notice your speed decreasing although your RPM is maintained at the same level. this implies that the clutch is worn out and slipping already.
