ermm, i didn't really clock mileage tt day cuz the distance isn't that great, but it's not far lah cuz i've done similiar trips on bicycles so no issues if u're on bike.

 

from what i recall, desaru to pengerang town is about 34km. desaru to 1st link about 80km ba. ain't too sure about exaxt distance.

how badly damaged is the bike?

fairing scratches here n there n e pipe too but will spray soon. the throttle jammed but will get it done . e only problem is e allignment ne handle bar right side abit downwards. e rest still ok n some fixed already

depends on which vespa u get i guess

the 2 stroke ones quite fierce in consuming fuel

comparable to RXZ or even SP

 

the 4 stroke ones tend to come with auto gear, somehow, auto gear bikes are also fierce in consuming fuel

i remember the Piaggio product spec sheet for their class 2B auto gear scooters was quoted something like 20+KM/litre

hi, i'm kinda new to the forum.... just wanna ask my cbr temp guage always been more den half when i travel like from hougang to town and i check my coolent is still full y is it still so hot ?? and also my pillon seat vibrates alot any way to stop it ??

when the bike is in motion while on the expressway how's the temperature reading like?

to solve the vibration, u need to find out where is the source of the vibration.

i just got my 2b license this year and am planning to get a CBR150, but i need to know how much some stuff costs b4 i go ahead and buy if not cannot cough up the money to maintain the bike then jia lat.

 

1) How much will road tax cost per year for a 2b sports bike like the CBR150?

2) I am 20 right now, gonna be 21 in november, just got license, how much will insurance cost me per year?

3) Any other non-bike-maintainence costs that I have to look out for?

4) I live in the east and most prob will travel to SMU everyday, so i won't clock much in terms of mileage. How much will an average rider have to spend on bike maintainence such as changing engine oil, air filter, etc every year?

hmm the temp i tink should be ard mid of the guage .... the vibration come frm the back seat

Heya! I just got my CBR150 last. Passed my 2B 2 weeks ago. I'm 20 in August, and the price is $6400 for my bike. Includes 2nd party insurance (for my dad and me), road tax for 6 months, fix p-plate and helmet.

 

I paid $1200 downpayment and will be paying $169 monthly for 3 years. I got it from Mah Motors at Upper Serangoon Road. They don't allow people below 21 to buy bikes on hire-purchase (loan), so either have to wait until reach 21 or get someone else with a licence to buy the bike and add yourself as additional rider like I did.

 

Road tax is $40 per 6 months. You might want to get season parking as well. Open air is $15 per month, not too sure abt MSCP. I think it's different charge. Insurance renewal might be close to $1000, but since you'll be above 21 next year, it'll definitely be much less.

Ok, need help anyone. yesterday i realised that my left head light did not light up. my right one is fine. i thought my bulb had blown, but when i on Hi-beam, both lights came on. so i wonder if the hi-beam and lo-beam share the same bulb, cos it looks like it.. anything i shld replace or check? ..

 

btw, will TP stop me if i only hav 1 head light lighted?

 

anyways, anyone noe how much is the HID lights? n where can i get a pair of them? cos white light looks nicer than the stock ones

i know. tts y im shocked.. i got it on 6march2006. mine's 1st hand.. erm i bought it from a bikeshop @ bukit panjang. erm, i forgot the machine price. what i noe was:

wah u bought at a great time man....5k for everything on top of interest is a great buy. i think machine price alone is close to 4.5k liao?

seems like 1 of the 2 filaments in the headlight bulb has blown

juz get it changed will do

 

if u intend to change to those white color bulbs, remember to check their wattage. if its way exceeding the wattage of the original bulb, then dont get it k. cause it will melt the headlight reflector.

 

btw having only 1 side of the headlight on is fine, cause mine is like that

just had an accident last thursday nitez... it was t juction i was riding str8 the traffic light was green saw a car wana turn hesitant and he stop awhile i just ride thru he suddenly make a turn collided with it.. luckily jamed break ma bike hit the ground hit ma left side .. broken ma left arm paramedic come send me to a&e had an operation inserted metal to joint ma bond .. the idiot driver admit his fault...

just had ma bike not more than a mah car hit me ... just be careful guyz especially junction even thou its green some pepole dun follow the traffic rules. now discharge recuperating at hm:weep:
