Sorry to hear the accident, hope you are better now,i agreed with you be more careful when approaching T-junction,especially be alert of those dangerous t*x* ,they don't give a damn one.For me I will normally sound 2 short honks to further alert the drivers i'm coming.More or less will help.

I guess drivers see bikers as hazard, and bikers see drivers as inconsiderate.

wish you speedy recovery

guyss. u tink can put main stand on our bike?

i dont think so...

considering that the lower fairing might hinder the positioning of a mainstand

why do u wan the main stand for?

can always get a vehicle jack to lift up 1 side of the bike

i've been on the lookout for jacks as well

tink shall go down to sungei market to have a look over the wkend when my exams end

in the meantime, guys who r interested to lubricate chain can try using the setup which i've been using so far for the past few mths

equipment required = hammer w/ a long wooden handle

1. squat behind the rear right side of the bike (behind the exhaust pipe tip) & try to lift up the bike such that the rear wheel is lifted off the ground

2. rest the hammer head on the floor to act as a pivot and wooden handle facing up

3. slide the edge of the wooden handle underneath the bolt/nut for the rear wheel and rest the bike onto the hammer

the end result will be that there are 3 points of contact between the bike and the floor: front wheel, side stand and rear wheel bolt/nut via the hammer.

*take note not to position the hammer head too close to the rear tyre such that it hinders the wheel when rotating

that's basically it

:cheeky:

need to take out both ur seats to unscrew the nut on the fuel tank.. after taking out tank.. there a sort of small box wif screw surrodning it.. unscrew it n inside will be the air cleaner aka our air fliter like limbat say.

think limbat & ozzarhomb are talking abt 2 separate things that exist:

1. air cleaner found inside the airbox

2. air filter found below the seat

the one u & gilerboy mentioned will be item 1

any clues for item 2?

:cheeky:

anyway, changing air cleaner once every 7000KM is quite hardcore

u ride yr bike in construction site or what? it shouldnt get so dirty if u were to ride on city roads one leh~
