i think i got experience before. tht happens when i shift down my gear at a relatively high speed. so wad i do is.. i slow down more before i actually shift down for a smoother gear change.

:cheeky: hello guys, been reading this thread for weeks,

in honest truth im currently a phantom rider, and i ride the TA 150 version of phantom,

mind if anyone can just give me a brief reply of the CBR150,

coz i tot of changing bike this june or august see if my pocket is okay :cheeky:

what i would like to know about the CBR 150 is

MAINTENANCE-WISE,

what are the normal stuffs you maintain other than E0,spark plug and petrol?

AND THE AVERAGE MILEAGE AMONG YOU RIDERS?

Is it around 35 to 40km per litre? pleaz help :)

i wanna learn more about the CBR and hopefully i might be changing to CBR if my passion for a sportbike ride really gets me to change to a sportsbike that is still a budget ride

and the CBR150 is what i know of:smile:

will hope that i get the replies thanks!:cheer:

OK.. i've been owning this bike for the past 4 months. so besides the normal maintenances u mentioned, realli nothing much that i have changed. Also bearing in mind that my bike is second hand, thus there is already wear and tear prior to my usage.

Things that i have changed:

1) front brake pad

2) fork oil seals

3)Sprockets and DID gold chain

4) serviced carburettor

5)replaced air filter

6) clutch cable

I think all these ah.. roughly spent ard $150 or less i think

and YEA fuel consumption is excellent. ard 35-40km/l like u mentioned.

Hope to see u join the CBR family :bouncefire:

Hi. I'm new, so I can't really answer most of your questions. Haven't even gone for my first servicing. I bought a new bike, and my mileage's at 665km right now, after 3 weeks. After doing my own calculation, I really got 40 km/l for fuel consumption. Possibly even a bit more. That's the only question I can answer for you.

as the 25W can get it at most bikeshops, is the wattage very high as compared to the 18W stock ones? will it melt the headlight? if it will, den forget it. haha..

our bike uses the same stock headlight bulb as Yamaha X1
