Anyway guys my insurance thingy is settled. Thanks all for the advice.

Oh ya do you think i've having problem cornering cause my fork is too low?

One more thing, i feel like putting alarm on my bike ley. Any opinions on that?

actually i feel got difference, cuz when cornering, more weight is thrown at the front wheel, so when u lower ur fork, even more weight is shifted from back to rear, resulting in rear having lesser weight to keep it down.

perhaps the feeling is that the rear keeps wanting to slip out tt's why bad cornering. i'm not too sure, it's purely my deduction :faint:

i guess every individual has got different preference for height of the fork due to different riding styles. i believe lowering the fork helps the rider to bank faster upon entering corners and recover back quicker, allowing faster negotiation of tight bends. if u r not used/prepared to cornering in such manner then i tink its better for u to raise yr fork abit more.

seriously, i dont understand how some of those super JB racers can still ride their TZMs after lowering the front fork for like 3-4inches! their front fork probably need to be modified or made stiffer, compromising the comfort factor when travelling on bumpy roads/potholes.

as for alarm, if u intend to put one, then be prepared to spend abit more to get decent ones. those on the lower-end are usually not too sophisticated to offer enough protection. anyway, for thieves familiar w/ bike electricals, overcoming the alarm system isnt exactly a too difficult task once they have ascertain the positioning of the sensor unit.

it's Desaru, 1 day trip is very possible. i did before actually, i brought the CBR150R up with a pillion. stayed there 1 night before coming back. kind of boring actually. there's nothing much to do there at Desaru. go there sleep and slack.

ride was ok, trunk roads mainly. overtaking the lorries is the tricky part, it's a 2 lane road u see. however, when the lorry drivers see u change lane and try to overtake, somehow they seemed to step on their accelerator and try not to let u overtake. frustrating sometimes, especially our bike is not too powerful enough to execute the overtaking fast. :faint:

all motoworkshop got sell tyres, its a matter of whether they got the particular brand or size u wan, their pricing also another matter, but a little difference only.

dunlop TT900 is best for distance, size is 90/80 is suitable.

battlax bt39 for corning, size is 90/80, 110/70 (if u wan big rear tyres).

these are my opinon, i not sure what others use.

dun start shooting me, thanks:sian:

anyone using different tyre sizes?

thanks for all the replies...

i'm also thinking of installing wider rim for the bike...

anyone do that?

hi u changing rim to put in bigger tyre is it the most u can fit in is 120/70 and our orginal can fit 110/90 liao but do take note the bigger tyre u use the top speed will be lower and the fuel consumption will drop too
