hey ozzarhomb, i check your previous thread abt calculating FC. is it like this. New mileage(18 121) minus my old mileage (17 916) divide the amount of litre (5.75 Litre) we pump the latest one = 35km/l ?? Am i right?

good evening everyone.. I just seen the doctor today..

he suggest i go for surgery, heres the reasons why or why not:

1. Without surgery, let it heal naturally:

- in future, i might feel pain when raising the hand

- the arm will not be as strong as it is before

2. With the surgery

- will leave a scar (thats of course)

- might feel numbness in the clavical area

- might have infection

Either methods, it will take about estimated 6-8 weeks to heal..

Now, why dun u guys tell me which option u will take??

Posted

we cannot tell you which option to take, you have to decide on your own, this is your arm we are talking about.

you have to weigh the pros n cons of each option clearly before making the decision.

with or w/o surgery, your arm will definitely not be the same as before in terms of strength i think

but perhaps let those that have injured themselves tell you more, as they would know better =)

Does it mean that you arm strength will be back to normal and you don't feel pain when raising up your hand if you go for the surgery? If the answer is yes, i would reckon that you go for the ops. It might be helpful especially when you are like in the 50s or sth.

About the infection, its only a possibility that you MIGHT get it? Ask the doctor on whether there's a way to prevent the infection. If there is, more reasons to go for the ops.

On the hand, i guess it involves a lot of cash and when it comes to money, life suck. lol.

wow, your situation reminds me of a kitchen injury i sustained about 5 years ago. basically i cut my hand so bad with a kitchen knife i couldn't move the last 3 fingers. total had 3 operations, one due to infection, but now everything is normal, except for the scars. quite cool to scare people with though. with our local medical science, it's really not that bad. still, the decision lies with you, and i believe money wise your parents will only want the best for your health. good luck!

yup about there, 42km\L most of the time, best i got so far was 44km\L. now i'm trying out another method of riding, the ah pek RXK\Vespa conservative riding style. gonna try for at least 300km before i go and pump. my pillions and riding kakis want to kill me liao cuz i've been gg so slow. :cheeky: will post my latest FC once i pump.

well, seems like most of them already gave their opinions already and mine is the same as them. i'll just share with u and the rest about my experience last time.

i skidded at bendemeer road on my 1st red color CBR150R. picked up the bike and road back. after i washed my wounds myself, my left knee started swelling until i couldn't bend it no more, took cab to hospital immediately. doctor said nothing much, just have to dress wound and wrap it up.

BUT!! the swelling didn't subside for about 4 months and my knee didn't bend at all the entire period!! in the end went do MRI cuz specialist suspected torn ligament. i'll say this period is entirely torturous cuz i'm like pending a life of being a cripple. it's frustrating and totally unbearable. look at my knee also sian. i was like so desperate for the doctor to fix my leg. chinese sensei i also go, whatever it takes, i just want to get it fixed.

it's a bad period for my parents as well, they were against me riding in the first place. i thought back i felt so bad cuz i wasn't being careful enough to get into an accident, get myself in deep trouble and worried my parents so much.

which was also why i keep telling u guys in previous posts to be extra careful when on the CBR150R, cuz this is a small bike that offers literally zero protection for the rider in case of a fall. fall only confirm tio bad. :faint: think i'll leave the pictures out ba, i save the pictures in my hp actually, to remind myself to be more careful.

just back frm JB to swop my racing footrest back to original footrest.

somehow my brake efficiency was greatly reduced w/ the racing footrest.

now it feels much safer w/ my rear brakes back to working status.

ride safe guys, especially with the mad weather nowadays. i got myself totally drenched even after putting on raincoat in the heavy downpour on Monday night.
