I read all abt tt as well, so guys u really hv to be careful when dealing on the net. Dun be greedy & get tempted. But tt does not mean all of them are bad, some are real sellers... with good deals ...........

Depends on rider too. I achieve average 36-38km/l. (Average speed 90-120km/h) But ozzarhomb got 40+ before...

correction, i always get 40+ :cheeky:

 

once i got 50+ on a conservative riding style trial, keeping a close watch on RPM.

 

recently i got the lowest ever, 26km\L when i went to Genting, throttle was kept pinned near max most of the time in a futile attempt to keep up with my convoy. :sian: waste so much fuel still cannot catch up.

I guess 35-40 km/l is the norm for our bike. Only extremist like Wee boon and zed can get up to 50 km/l. :cheeky: :cheeky:

Thats false accusation. Chargeable in the court of law. lol. I very safe rider ok. I always follow speed limit, check blindspot and signal before changing lane ok. Don't anyhow say!!!!!!!:cheeky: :cheeky:

I guess if u stay within speed limit & not go into redline often - you will also get those kind of FC. BTW bike maintenance is also very important to get those FC they getting. :angel:

i agree that energy, in this case fuel, can be lost due to the extra inertia needed to overcome poorly lubricated parts, poor quality air in the intake, quick heat buildup in the bike, etc etc.

 

so Thank You Uncle Lim and Wee Boon for helping my change my air cleaner yesterday. it was so black i couldn't see the orange bits anymore! next up, change coolant. Wandi, when we doing?

hi guys.

 

with regards to cruising at 5th gear at about 80km to 90km on our speedometer.

 

at what rpm is your meter idling @ on your tachometer? 6k rpm? or 7k rpm?

 

i feel that mine always like around 6k - 7k, abit high for me :S

 

and with regards to cbr150 ride comfort, i find it a rather more "vibrating" journey as comared to other bikes. what do you guys think?

 

where is a good place to change tyres to dunlop TT990 for cbr150 @ a good pricing, many thanks.

cbr150 should have a decently vibration free handle compared with other 4 stroke of 2b class. On my bike last time it only has a slight vibration on a narrow rpm around 5K-5.5K. Above that it goes back to smooth again until you hit top end of the rpm.

 

you may want to check your handle bar balancer on the both end of your grip. Is it original or aftermarket or worse you dont have them installed? I lost one of my balancer before and it was VERY bad haha. my hand was numb for some minutes after i got off the bike everytime.

Generally the heavier the balancer, the better it is to dampen the vibration.

 

unless you are talking about 'butt' /whole bike body vibration :p
