anyway, i got the pilot lights fixed up already.

currently the 1 and only cbr150r in spore to have the pilot lights :p

ya, we go 'pa tor'. Wandi bring me go dark dark places like Mount Emily. then luckily got Derrick come and be 'light bulb', so not so dark anymore. don called, but his timing not right, no luck to come and be 'fourth wheel'.

it is only the front signal lights that light up.

 

when u activate signal lights (either left or right side) then the pilot lights will cut off. i.e. the signal lights will work & blink like normal.

 

when u deactivate the signal light, the pilot lights will come on again 1-2 sec later. hehe.

 

i paid $20 + lottsa time to DIY and get seller to troubleshoot for me.

Wow nice pilot lights don. Looks a bit like R1 headlights with the corner lighting up :p

 

I getting fed up sia, want to go change mirrors alrdy. Everytime i park, when i come back surely the mirrors will be out of place cos someone accidentally hit them. Then i have to re-adjust, and it's not easy to adjust nice nice. Happened twice today. x(

hi is the pliot light illegal cos my bike is due for inspection liao so if sure fail must wait for my inspection finish first loh

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

thats what i intended also

but changing the front signal bulbs to superwhite ones will look weird cause my headlight is the normal yellowish color

 

have to clear my annual inspection 1st though. just received the letter a few days back.

 

to do the pilot light, u basically need to do some re-wiring of the signal light circuit to include a special device. this is the device sold by Mark Ng for $20 (he doesnt offer installation service).

 

it comes w/ installation guide letting u know which wire to connect to where. if you have some basic experience stripping and cutting wires, it shouldnt be a problem. :thumb:

 

that day i had to look up bro Mark Ng at yishun cause i couldnt get the device to work properly (all caused by a da.mn malfunctioning switch). so he does provide after sales service if u cant get the device to work. no worries~

 

my old model cbr150r comes originally w/ headlight switch. hehe. i added 1 more switch to specifically switch off the left side of the headlight to make it a cyclops. i thought of doing some energy saving to redeem my sin of contributing to the carbon dioxide/monoxide to the air :p

 

to fix up the device, only need to remove the entire meter assembly + right side middle fairing. no need to take out the head fairing. :)

 

as for legality issues, Mark Ng told me it will be able to clear inspection. the good thing is that you can include a switch to turn off the pilot light function when it is not required. so i dont foresee issues clearing inspection.

legal, no problems with that de. i went for inspection with white halogens. :smile:

wow don power lah answer all qns all together so the whole thing cause $20 so will u guide us to install if we buy sure i think wan will be the first to buy
