hey bro air horn can pass or not i need to go inspection is there any charge if fail inspection

Wow nice pilot lights don. Looks a bit like R1 headlights with the corner lighting up

 

I getting fed up sia, want to go change mirrors alrdy. Everytime i park, when i come back surely the mirrors will be out of place cos someone accidentally hit them. Then i have to re-adjust, and it's not easy to adjust nice nice. Happened twice today. x(

 

hm..usually my mirrors only get 'adjusted' by others when:

 

- i parked too near to the bikes beside (machiam mirror to mirror)

- i parked my bike facing the opposite direction as the bikes next to mine

- i am blocking the pathway of pedestrians

 

my guess is changing mirrors may not solve the issue. when there are strange pple who like to 'accidentally' bump into yr mirrors, they will bump yr mirrors no matter what kind of mirrors u use!

 

but it doesnt sound too bad if u can go recee for a good stylo milo pair of aftermarket mirrors and update us? hehe

wow don power lah answer all qns all together so the whole thing cause $20 so will u guide us to install if we buy sure i think wan will be the first to buy

still suffering from phobia of hands-on. i spent like 4hrs on my 1st attempt at fixing up the device (all thanks to the malfunctioning switch i mentioned earlier). had muscle ache for the next 2 days due to excessive bending and squatting next to the bike.

 

if u fail inspection cause of minor items. they can offer u re-inspection w/o additional fees. if it is for major items, then will need to pay for a 2nd round of inspection at a slightly cheaper rate (forgot what's the price already).

 

not too sure if air horn constitutes a minor or major issue though.

by any chance, could u have mistaken electromagnetic horns like stebel magnum 2 for air horn?

by right, electromagnetic horns should pass inspection. but, i have also heard of some forumers whose electromagnetic horns kena penalised.

Hi Guys, I'm back from BangKok..

 

Din manage to go to the Honda Dealer Uncle Lim gave me the address cos it was out of the way AND only me amongst my friends wanted to go...

However, I did went to a bike shop called "PADDOCK" there.. its supposedly like thailand's Motorworld..

 

That shop has really great variety of accessories.. Especially their helmets.. really super a lot.. BUT the price is about the same as SG's if not more ex.

In the end, din get anything there..

I also always face the same problem..

Fact is, when we parked out bikes, the angle of the mirror is so protruded as if inviting others to bump into..

Especially so when parking lots in shopping centres are so small.. when u get off ur bike, the bike lean to ur left, leaving a small gap for u to squeeze urself out.. (of cos, u urself will "siam" ur own mirror but not the guy who parked beside u, sadly)

 

One way u can position ur mirror so that no one bumps into is like Wandi's.. Push it all the way in, towards ur own visor..

But for myself, I cun apply this method though as I am bigger-sized.. Cun see if I push it all the way inwards..

 

Sad thing, I gotta always re-position my mirrors. Period.

Few of us are actually using Halogens right now.. We got it from Uncle Lim (Limbat) the other time..

We got it from him quite some time back at $10 per bulb.. Whether or not the price is still the same, maybe u can check with him..

 

The bulbs are actually very easy to install once u get the hang of it..

 

The 1st time we got them, we were struggling and only managed to fix them after some 2-3hours..

However after that, I oni need 5mins to fix the bulbs..

 

If u really need help, just let me know.. I will try to help while I can since Im still on MC now.. Only starting work next monday.. =)

hmm, i hand itchy feel like going to do the biometric thinggie for my passport.

 

if you go in on your own like i do, it does save you time, especially on the way back. going in sometimes you'll get stuck way before the biometric entrance. however, if you go in with gf most of the time, then no difference.

 

but since it's free, it's better to have than not to. at least it increases your options.
