the purpose of engine oil is to form a coating on engine parts to reduce the wear & tear when in operation. if the coating oil is too thin, then it doesnt offer as much protection against heat and wear & tear as compared to a thicker oil.

but the whole idea is not to use an overly thick oil as well as this will reduce the ability of the engine oil to flow and dissipate heat from the engine parts.

hehe. hm, if i can think of something else to describe. engine oil viscousity is like condom thickness. too thin or too thick also no good! :p

hey it's not a waste of time. every interview is an experience, preparing you for the time when you need to ace for the job.

go interview= got chance, no interview= no chance! you don't want to be dispatching all your life right?

ok EO review

Castrol Power 1 racing (fully synthetic)

mileage done - 3.6K km

bike feels smooth initially, with crisp gear shifts and smooth running engine with little vibrations. after 3K though, it starts to get the sticky gear phenomenom and feels rough.

overall - 7\10

7 because of the price, it's a fully synthetic oil with only slightly better than semi properties. not recommended. castrol power 1 is still my all-time favourite semi.

Disclaimer: this is my own opinion. do not quote me!! who knows it might be my bike's issue!! :faint:

Resolution for 2009, stay healthy, get wealthy, make more friends, ride safely & pass all exams!

can...then u run the risk of piston jammed inside the engine then more bills will come yr way. hehehe.

if u r lucky, only need to replace engine. if unlucky, u realise there's a mini pocket bike added to the list of responsibilities u have. lolz.

after 2 years 1 month of usage, i finally retired my Stock IRC tires. it has seen a total mileage of 27277km. :cheer:

slapped on a set of Dunlop TT900 today, the rubber seemed very soft. guess it won't even last 20k. :faint:
