Thanks uncle Lim... so in that case, what is the normal lifetime of this battery? When should I start considering maintenance? It seems to be working fine still but I believe in preventative maintenance rather than repair :cheeky:

I hve been riding my CBR for almost a year, so it means I got to recondition the Bat.

Btw, thx uncle lim for guiding me.

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

preventive maintenance eh?

are you laughing at me?

Come on Zed, would I laugh at you?

Seems though that you are taking the same route considering you just bought the parts to replace your chain and sprockets. Are you planning DIY or going to a shop to help you? If DIY, I'd like to join to learn (and perhaps help?):giddy:

Sounds like we got a batch of battery reconditioning coming up. I dunno when my battery last received some maintenance but a quick look showed a lot of dust on the cover so I wouldn't be surprised if mine never received any sort of service?

try bike production

Address: 610 Serangoon Road Singapore 218216 Tel: (65) 6392 2555

but be forewarned that the boss may not exactly own a friendly attitude. but his prices are rather competitive. :)

anyway i saw the 1st malaysia registered CBR150 yesterday. JKS plate. color scheme seems to be similar to the new CBR150s we see (e.g. lazy1000's bike) but the shade of blue is dark/purplish blue.

totally nice!!

Called BP today. No stock currently. Machine price $4500 without insurance & IU. Is it a good price?

lol... just fooling around. you'd be frightened too if your chain keeps clicking when it comes round the faulty part.

i'm going in to JB for installation. i wouldn't DIY cos i don't have the chain cutter, and a proper set of tools. also, i'm paying someone to get dirty. it's difficult to wash grease off.

1)btw don n weeboon how much are u two able to achieve speedo 110km/h at 8k rpm.. cos mine is at about 107-108 at 8k rpm.. mech say might be due to my smaller tire which he meant the height.. example higher/taller tyre can travel at higher speed at same rpm that what he said.

2)anyone here did overhaul for our bike? seem my bike is having draggy feeling.. mech tried say the balancer inside the engine or the overhaul portion is not on norm condition.. such as wear n tear causes vibration to the bike on certain rpm.. for me all i can feel is vibration..

3)anyone know where can find our bike de front sprocket but 14teeth.. cos stock is 15 (can the one holding uncle lim cbr150 book help me double confirm, thx).. 1 of the mech asked me to try MY shop seem they have this sprocket for this special type of cub kia but unavaliable in sg..

1) i duno abt 8K rpm. but im getting 90kmph at 6.5K rpm. see if yrs the same? generally no major difference as compared to my previous tyre which was stock size.

2) i am considering bringing my well travelled cbr150 (90,000km mileage so far) for a piston ring change and to clean up the internals. but till i find the time to bring it down to a good motorshop. :cheeky:

3) im using size 14 front sprocket. duno where the shop in JB got it. but it is as such. :p

i don't want to go in the evening or weekends cos that's when they're busiest. i want to catch this guy i know at a good time so he can afford a little more attention.

also, i'm getting my exhaust resprayed. which means i need the light of day to see better.
