The other thing is that, if I run my bike slowly for a long time, the temp gauge will slightly more than 1/2. But if I run my bike at normal speed or faster speed, temp gauge will nvr go till half. Anything wrong with this?

Any kind experts to advice me? Thx in advanced. :)

Seems pretty normal. Our bike is liquid cooled but this liquid is still cooled again by air. If you are moving slowly or standing still, not much cooling so temp goes up. If moving, you get airflow through filter and then cooling fluid is chilled by airflow and cools engine again...

DIY? I read the manual book of CBR125, it recommends not to DIY our coolant ler?

About the brake service, mech service for me. In fact I nvr DIY anything for my bike. No experience and afraid kena towed... Hahaha.... But seems like DIY is good for budgeting, so I will learn alot of things from you guys. Thx...

I think handbooks generally advise against it because most people don't have facilities or tools to do proper job and cannot dispose of old coolant properly (this stuff u cannot just poor down the drain). Also, the motordiams make more money form servicing then from sales of bikes so better advise buyers to service regularly (at the shop where they buy of course :cheeky: )

For me either Fri or Sat can as long as confirmed on time, more importantly, do we have confirmation from anyone that can play tour guide? Need some experienced riders especially since most of us not familiar and/or new to the bikes...

How come the guy at bike production say u not suitable for CBR? Interesting point to make by a shop or what. Normally u should try the bike and decide if good for u or not....

i wanna ask u guys who had done buy/sell bike before something..

lets say to sell a bike to someone to COI. I actually read up from the forum lah.. now we are not able to do that officially.

what we can do is to put him as sub-rider then he will COI

so rightfully im the main owner but actually hes the one riding and paying..

so my question is.. how do u ensure that guy dun do anything funny, illegal stuff then deny everything...

become like i kenna cos in the eyes of the law, im the owner mah..

or we cun prevent this? and this is purely based on mutual trust???

Oh Yea!! Also, what will be the charges incurred?

like adding him in as a sub-rider.

Take note, I already have a named rider.. so I will need to change the sub-rider. Is this allowed and if yes, what will be the cost involved?

this is dangerous for yrself especially if the fella whom u r letting yr bike to is a stranger.

u can spend some $$ to get some legal document drafted and signed.

but at the end of the day, are u going to spend $$ on lawyer fees upfront and bring a civil suit against the fella if he really chalks up tonnes of fines & worse, be involved in accidents or hit & run case?

to the motorshop, if the subrider defaults on his installment payments, their target will be u.

cost of change subrider will be around $25 depending on different insurance companies. try checking w/ yr insurer to confirm. in addition, u will need to topup any increase in premium if the new subrider is young & less experienced than u or yr previous subrider.

technically, it is possible to let someone COI yr bike. but i guess the bigger picture u will need to look at will be whether u r willing to take up the possible risks involved.

IMHO, u should clear the installments under yr name (+ pay for possible early settlement fee) and then do a clean ownership transfer to the buyer. money to clear the installments can come frm the buyer's pocket, or he approach yr motorshop to takeup reloan using his name.

Anybody hear about this health scare in Malaysia about hawkers frying stuff in oil that they melted some plastic in as well so it remains crispy longer? Think that 'goreng pisang' is off my menu for a while...

this point belong to carb only? or any other related that might cause it..

heard initial idling aka rpm is towards our battery.. cos mine will flicker abit during the initial start up..

our bike rpm meter is powered electronically. hence, it is likely that the reading will be affected by battery or electrical charging system.

I think main requirement is you must be able to have both feet flat on the ground when sitting on the bike and u must be comfy on the bike so have to try and ride it first. For me also concern but more because tall. So far quite happy with my ride... don't see issue with lady or guy for this bike:giddy:

cornering difficult? dont see why....

d0n, you going with us on Saturday not?

if i 1 person guide i'll advise against the whole idea cos most of the rest not familiar with the roads.

any response from the buzzing bee or the big box?

So how is the outcome? Confirm going?

my only concern is that there is not enough people who are familiar with the roads going.

i want to make sure we go in as a group, come out as a group.

1.59m..? bah i'm sure can reach both feets on the ground if not tip toe..=) if cannot, can always lower down fork or rear suspension..

as for cornering being difficult to handle, no laa.. its the rider's skill, doesnt depend on motorcycle much.. hee.. i believe u wana be a safe rider for now right.. so corner slowly..=D

though i tend to speed+corner, not worth it la scrap here scrap there.. later bike outlook not nice..=D

oh ya bout lady cannot ride cbr, that's totally untrue.. anyone can ride any bike mah..:cheeky: my friends say i ride lady bike.. bike got no specific gender one laa.. depends on urself..

ride safe.. ride responsibly.. give way to me..! :shades:
