2 days ago, at night, ard 730pm, I was riding till a CBR rider,zoomed past me. Super high speed.. I gave a chase and tailed it. I am impressed with the speed achieved by that rider to think its a 4T bike. Ups for ur CBR!

Anyone want to share a Stebel Magnum horn? It comes in a pair but only intend to install one.

 

Can install just one? Is is air or electronic? Understand air horn not allowed, electric can, right? Might be interested but no time in near future to install

Your KIPS should be able to match or not? Most speed CBR150 can achieve is around 140/150 kph... more than enough on e-way in Singapore

 

Where did you see this CBR? Colour scheme? Was it our bumble bee?

brand new, the 400cc Monster is discontinued, replaced with the 600cc one as launched at Bike Asia. it was sold out at launch, priced at 40 big ones, if I remember correctly.

correct, air horns are illegal. our only option is electrical powered pneumatic ones.

 

looking at http://www.stebel.it, there are pneumatic ones which will replace ours that are twice as loud. it's just playing on the grey area since TP say no air compressed, but never specify what's the max decibel.

i get stopped every single time I encounter a road block. the TP torch shine shine a bit and he decides i'm Ah Beng (doesn't help to look like one too). i don't want to give them another reason to keep me longer.

 

also, playing with the electrical is DIY i try to stay away from. debugging electrical problems can be quite a pain.

I never encounter roadblocks but then I don't tend to ride around at unearthly hours (unlike others - judging from the times that people post on this forum) Wasn't aware that during this roadblock check they even review legal status of your bike? Thought it was more alcohol check etc?

Are u still part of the triangle racing team? So fed up when they only stop riders with p plates while the rest gets to go off without a worry. Very troublesome for me to remove my gloves, pause my music, take out license etc. One time even asked me to remove my helmet.

what i can advise is that, walk around bike's shops to see if there's a second hand cbr. cause you can seldom see a second hand cbr in the bike shop, i guess the market is really small and few people consider it for their first ride.

 

pricing wise it's up to you individual to decide whether is it worth while or not.

 

best of all, its to get the it from garage sales from SBF.

Feel that most rides in Singapore are too short to really enjoy music... but I guess if u are riding a lot, it can definitely be more enjoyable. Also it may be better for your hearing (depending of the volume u play your music of course). I read that it is advised to use earplugs on longer rides as the constant noise can be quite tiring.
