Is there a performance CDI for our bikes? Anyone using one? How much is it?

You can try to search it on MO (Mass Order) thread. I believe Derrick also bought his Racing CDI from there. If Im not wrong its from Thailand (API Tech) cost around 150 bucks. Good luck......

wa... so long... i bought my bike 3 days after i got my license.

 

then 2 weeks later self skid kena put in cast for 1 month.

 

ya cos asphoon dun do the spraying themselves mah.. they sub out to other companies to do.. tts why so long lor.. this weekend will mark the 2nd week liao. wonder if he's gonna call me soon.

 

last time i bought my bike within 1 week aft i got my license too! kena chain accident aft 1 and half year, MC for 4 mths.. LOL

I think what she meant was a chain accident means, 3 or more cars and above.

 

Car 1 see ERP & slammed brake, Car 2 failed to brake and hit Car 1, Car 3 failed to brake as well and hit Car 2 etc etc etc.

 

If, touchwood, our chain and sprocket got stuck & locked. What will happened? Wheel lock and skid? HMMS.

and another case which happened 2 - 3 years ago that was reported recently that caused another superfour female rider to lose her job/memory loss due to the accident.

 

and i saw an aftermath of accident yesterday during the morning traffic along SLE>BKE

first, the description abt chain accidents is correct. I was involved in an accident of 5 vehicles.. 4 cars, i was the 5th and a biker. thanks for the explaination, kifakw!! =)

 

tts why while waiting for the bike to be done with spraying, i also a bit scared when i ask myself if i dare to ride again.. but what to do, for convenience's sake.. i shall just have to bite the bullet and risk it..

i dunno lah.. if the authorities have any sense, they will understand that it is really quite impossible for a bike to cause damage to all 4 cars?? my cbr150 can bang the last car to push all the way to the front meh?!?! the most only the 4th car lor!!!! but then again.. pple here go by black and white and dun really use common sense..

 

ya got scars, all on my right.. the biggest is the 10 inch one on my ankle cos i had to do reconstructive surgery to repair a completely snapped ligament..

 

still, thank god i'm the last vehicle.. if i'm sandwiched in between, who knows what will become of me liao!!!

 

rider down, and all they care abt when they first come out of their cars is to inspect the scratches and dents on their bumpers lor.. i lay there all the way until ambulance came.. i couldn't even sit up and there was blood.. but no one even came to look at me..

omg they really claim you until you left nothing? how much excess did you paid in the end or its your case still ongoing and waiting for the verdict to be out.

 

being a bike, i think it's possible to appeal if you have your points and stand. it's not as if a 2b bike like a 1ton 2wheeler to bang all the 4 vehicles lol

 

yups sadly but true that's how the stupid system for accident insurance works.

 

most of the singaporeans will try to milk you as much as they can as long as it benefit for their side, all the bullshit issues like trama, cannot work, medical, family etc etc.

 

10 inches, that is like 25 centimeters but think of the positive side, yups you didn't get sandwiched in between :dot:

 

or else i can imagine rider inside the rear seats through the rear windscreen.
