hellow all, i'm ronny, from jakarta, indonesia. .i have a cbr150 too..

 

i want to ask something about rear tyre..i use BT45 front tyre on it...

it still bumpy and sliding when i get cornering at circuit,..

do you have any idea what type and brand i must bought for my rear tyre?

 

and,what size of standard cbr150 carb?

26mm or 28mm??

can i change it to non-vacuum type ex: Keihin PE-24?..

how about the effect to engine?will i get more responsive engine?get more horsepower???most of my friend change it to PE28,but i thought that spec. is too big for cbr150..

I just know that its illegal to change our carb. But Im sure the Inspection People will not be able to tell whether our carb is stock or not. What do you think?

Zed, if you are DIYing your rear or front brake, can let me know? I want to learn how to DIY them.

 

Ben, if you still looking for front sprocket 14 teeth, let me know. I bought 2, its Honda original but not from Thailand, its from Indonesia. 10 bucks, that time I changed 15 bucks. :(

i won't be DIYing my breaks. when time comes for it to be changed, i will be replacing my stock brake hoses with steel braided ones. that will require bleeding the brakes which i'm not confident of.

I see. Yes, its stock for another big bike (Honda GL PRO 150cc). This bike is considered as big bike in Indonesia, but not for here.

i suggested you not to change it, because your top speed will decrease...

you can improve your acceleration with get some programmable CDI or change your exhaust/carb, hehehe...

I got it @65000. Expensive by 5k. :(

 

Yeah, GL PRO is a crap in Indo compare to King or Ninja. But in here, our CBR150R is a crap compare to SP or KRR (Ninja in Indo).

 

Our CBR family here not using CBR150R for racing, its best transport bike in here with good style and good FC. Also very low maintainance. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

 

Btw, there is a guy riding Ninja in my place. Look..... ok2 only, but the exhaust/engine sound super cool. Here Ninja is how many cc, 400 or 450 or 650. forget alrdy.

1) extra cost in maintenance due to 2T and clearing exhaust carbon

2) extra cost in poor FC

3) high emissions to the environment

4) often having parts stolen due to common bike

 

yes, i agree the CBR150R is crap.
