Although light are important, No need to see meter one. You should be keeping your eyes on the roads. Other road user slow down (especially taxi) you know that there is speed trap. If you faster than the other driver in lane 1 (while you in lane 3), then you too fast already loh....

I think Ben is right !! rider/driver should really focus on the ride/trip & everything around you not the bike, but of course the bike should be in good condition then u can focus on the road.

guys,

i saw some PMOs which sell brighter bulbs for meters.. our bikes can only take T10 right? how about those brighter-than-stock T10s? can use?

as for headlights, are there any bulbs which is brighter than stock, and legal? I dun wish to spend so much for a HID conversion kit..

sorry guys, bulb idiot here.. like, really.. lol..

first of all, top of my list is to change grips and horn.. grips, for less numbness and vibration. horn, because i tried horning at cars and they cant bloody hear me!!!!

maybe let me successfully install my horns then i'll have a better idea to teach you. i'll continue work on it this weekend.

teh-o limau ice, can... on you! =P

will never be faster wan.. i'm slower than everybody else, always! even at traffic lights i seldom travel in between lanes to go to the front.. haha..

i believe new riders whould always treat themselves as a 2 wheel car to gain road experience. no squeezing or over taking until after a few months.

if not like me 2 weeks buy bike then buang.

lol.. my license is from nov'04..

riding slow cos kena accident b4. so still love the feeling of riding, but dun know v much abt bikes..

but yeah, i think i stop riding for too long already.. only drive.. that's why now sometimes forget i'm on a bike except when cars come too close to me..

thats why i wanto change all my lights.. headlights, meter lights, brake lights.. to create more awareness.. aft all, our cbr is not built for power and speed, but more for transport, comfort, efficiency and low maintenance..

i think EO change should depend on distance rode, and not length of time.

meaning Uncle Lim can take 3 months to clock 2500km, while i 1 month. so i change every month while he change ever quarter.

ours is small bike, i'm not sure how effective it's going to be.

its not so much on just the battery right? got better FC and less stress on engine too, it seems.. not suitable for our bikes??

me and my friend, when get our new bike(fresh from the showroom)

we take/made an intensive running-in,we push our engine to the limit, first gear almost redline, until highest gear, don't to much keep your rpm, just let it flow..and don't make heavy engine brake...

this step will make your cbr engine "fast" and "responsive",i have been do this and till now,my standard cbr can run 140kmh at six gear...my friend who also doing this got 150kmh...

ahh crazy, maybe he got 150kmh when he still use std tyre(fyi: my friend bike can run to 190kmh,crazy huh,not in circuit,DBS exhaust, Shindengen CDI,Keihin PE28 Carb, K&N filter)..

fyi, my school friend,he using honda CBR150 too, but, did you know?

he just can touch 150kmh with his bike(DBS Exhaust, keihin PWK 28 sudco,Iridium spark plug, throttle RS125,14T drive chain,BRT CDI)

crazy huh??yaaaaa,i thought he doesnt do correct running-in,i with standard cbr can pass him on straight at sentul circuit..hahahaha,very happy:p

ninja rr are not totally crap...

but some of CBR user in jakarta can "passed" that bike with some easy modification on cbr, hehehe..

the conclusion is,a superior bike came from professional rider

haiyahhh,bad grammar--"

in singapore, allowed to change CDI?

due to Singapore laws, HID is illegal, unless they come as stock.

LEDs are bright from near, but they rays are not focused in a straight line. this means that from far a filament bulb will be brighter. Uncle Lim has tried, and LEDs in our dashboard is actually dimmer than stock. your only option for lights is halogens, which Uncle Lim only has for our hreadlight. but they're still in testing phase, and unfortunately don't last as long as stock ones.

oh.. so stock is still the best option huh?

how come some PMOs state that its "super white/crystal white T10 bulbs". what does that mean?

well, it's just like the Broquet fuel charger on the MO. Derrick, Zheng Yuan and I used before. We can't say that it works wonders, or that it may even work, but we can only share our FC.

with things like that it's all very subjective. think about it, if it's supposed to work wonders, Honda would have installed it to begin with.

Derrick, Wandi, got free drinks!
