those screws which are slightly titanium/blackish in color are almost non-changable. reason being as what u encountered, the space allowance on the plastics can only accomodate the original screws.

can only try those on the matt black plastic below rider seat and on the bottom fairing next to footrest.

:cheeky:

the shop near to kopitiam deals mostly in larger quantities. hence, their poor attitude when serving small clients like us.

 a customer is a customer. anyway i managed to get original look alikes from them, and they fit well.. so its good.. now the only ugly rusty ones are those holding the tyres..

its purely for cosmetic purposes

:cheeky:

i had some lights changed by yesterday. he took four hours. this is what he did..

-- meter lights x 1 pair red. (note this is only one side. CBR150R has 4 meter lights, not 2 ok)

-- neutral light x 1 pc (changed to rainbow LED so it changes colour when at neutral gear)

-- undercarriage x 1 30-LED cube red with switch (its damn nice at night. i love it.)

-- brake lights x 1 pair (nice and bright too)

cost me $90 in all.

he was really patient and enjoys his work. he does everything nicely for me and even managed to fix my brake light cover which was out of alignment (bike shop say its like that wan. pui!) and he answers any questions. most importantly, my bike is can start aft everything wan lor.. until today still can start (derrick and zed will know what i'm talking abt)

overall job, 10 out of 10. nice guy, great job.

4 hours to change light bulbs? That rainbow LED and undercarriage LED must be difficult or what? I remember changing my display lights and it took me 5 minutes :giddy:

Btw, for anyone interested, still have a bunch of those light bulbs available, dont think I'll haul them over to Europe

i dont mind getting one if it is within my budget. it beats using a multimeter when i want to know the condition of the batt and charging systems. On top of that, the unit you have looks nice too...

can also view this thread to see my volt meter

hm

my fren was going thru these 2 options for 2A bike some time back also

back then, we found out that the GSR400 are all parallel imports.

i.e. not covered by local agent, unlike the GSR600.

not too sure if this is still the case now though.

:cheeky:

ended up my fren didnt get any of the above.

he borrowed an old CBR400 frm his rich friend (whom i hope to meet one day also). =X
