you know me well, but recently i can't seem to keep up with Derrick.

i'm desperate. =P

Firstly u got to do is change ur CDI. How a limited rpm bike overtake a higher limited rpm bike (assume both riders have the same riding/racing skills). I mean, its possible coz it also depends on the rider. :cheer:

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

Air / Carb: due to the carb jetting for the air intake, there will be a limit of air taken into the carb. So without changing the carb jetting, eventhough u dont put airfilter or u dont put the box cover, the air taken into the carb is the same.

i would tink that the presence of air filter would make a difference.

imagine breathing freely versus thru a pillow.

having K&N filter is probably like breathing thru a blanket for illustration. :p

also cant quite convince myself that with the nice deep bassy sound produced when no air filter is used, an equal amount of air is being sucked into the carb as with an air filter.

:cheeky:

not so sure abt the effectiveness of drilling holes on the airbox though.

reason being, there is technically no restriction of air into airbox via the inlet holes (air is everywhere~) unlike the case of air in airbox to carb w/ filter as the restriction.

zed: tink u better standby some air/fuel mixture tuning knowledge before attempting to do airbox/filter mods~

the other bros join in the discussion too leh!

No comment on the air filter. :slapforehead:

Not standby the knowledge, but standby the MONEY for tuning & rejetting. :D It cost $100+ for rejetting & dyno tuning @ Race Werks. :cheer:

Simple, get yourself a kr.., then you will be the fastest........ as long as you are riding with any of us here on SGP roads.

Absolutely right. 30km/l with the speed that we get out of KR, its worth if u need speed.

Go & have a look at it first. If its waterproof, breathable & protective, but you really dont like or even hate the design, surely u don want to buy it. Its ur choice. :D

Please consider Ninja 250 for 2A class. The only 2A sport bike that has a nice design. FC around 20kpl, machine price around $8800 & its 4strokes bike. Just came in to Sgp :cheer:

the problem w/ getting 250cc bikes in spore is that the 2A licence allows up to 400CC

i have heard of pple make comparison of 250CC bike vs super4

apparently the difference in power is there but the difference in FC is not that much.

:cheeky:

in my mind, i thot i kind of agree w/ their comparison. so i guess it takes a real kawa lover to forgo the super4 and get the ninja250

see u all on Friday - Zed should i arrange the coach for the VM DIY, since u hv not tried it yet ?

I was at the BKK-Korntom market but it was so crowded - i did not ask abt the stickers. I bought a lot of SD & DDR rams, now got spare 128s, 256s & 512s - Panthip Plaza also sell lots of rams & storage flash disks, is so cheap there now.
