I am newbie. Can I check with all of you here about a few issues?

I am considering of getting CBR150 and I passed my licence about a month ago. I was been quote for the bike for 5.6k plus insurance will be 6.4kotr.

Is it very expensive? I was been quote for Mit Swee for 600+, AXA 700+ and NUTC 800+ for 2nd party fire and theft. 150 was added as I am P plate. When buy the bike the warranty is to the shop rather than to the authorised dealer. Is this common? ANyone can recommend me which shop is better to buy bike from? Thanks..

If Im not wrong, our bike is parallel (dono spell correctly or not) imported by bike shops, therefore the waranty is just like what u were told by the shop. You cant find 150 @ Boon Siew, Honda Authorised Dealer, only got 125.

Y 2nd party? Its only 2B bike what? Unless u r talking about new Aprilia or new Mito. Anyway, its ur choice.

the Repsol is Ben's bike. Ethan has left when i took the picture.

 

the silver CBR belongs to our new family addition. Derrick had to go back to work cos the could only take a few hours off.

if you're in no hurry, the most cost effective method is to buy from a fellow forumer. just check the bike sales regularly and i'm sure you'll be able to find something.

 

i am lucky, but it still must mean something if i managed to get a FZ at 2.2K within a week of searching the forums.

so i saw a total of 9 CBRs today! (excluding mine and another r6)

 

its a nice feeling. feels almost like family, just that of different colours (like brad pitt and angelina jolie's multi-coloured children)

 

red/black rocks man! the best colour combination on bikes. ok uncle lim and derrick don't scold me!

5.2K on the road inclusive of COE, Road Tax and Insurance is it? How old are u? Are u a P Plate when u brought that time?
