Use V-Power once in a while?

I kinda use V-power nearly all the time! It really does give me more power and more mileage. At least for my boy, the extra mileage that I get more than covers for the extra that I pay for it.

And Esso fuel is just terrible! I don't know why, but it just doesn't burn that reliably.

And I also pop a few mothballs in the tank every three months or so. Seems to result in better power and more reliable combustion.

Disclaimer: try it at your own risk. Although I honestly do pop the mothball in, I refuse to take any responsibility for your actions. (",)

mothballs?!?! where on earth did u get that inspiration from??

i've never heard of this... :giddy: :giddy:

maybe when we meetup on thurs, we can take a peek on how the mothball reacts in the tank...

shell v-power pumped me up to 160km/h..! its great..! with every pros, there's always cons..=) one disadvantage bout shell v-power i heard is that they eat away your metal part in your carb or engine bit by bit..=)

its good fuel of course..but think best to fill it occasionally..esso fuel burn too fast.. anyone wana go for fuel+motorwash wimme later tonight..? like 12+ or 1..?:bouncefire:

its been proven by mythbusters and also some veteran riders that mothbal increases engine power by some bit..fuel consumption is reduced too i think..:bounce:

Hello fellow CBR riders! I've been riding this bike for half a year already. COI from a close friend of mine. Great bike. Just that it can't go fast only. Still love it nonetheless. West sider here btw.

You'll be disappointed, you'll hardly see any reaction. Just some light fizzing around the mothball.

Yeap, those things inside the cupboard. Though I only use the white ones. It seems to make the fuel slightly more gaseous for me. Which I believe allows the fuel to burn more completely not withstanding the fact that it is also burns more readily.

Well, I am aware of how it is rather weird. But whatever works right? At the same time don't have too high an expectation of the improved performance. It wouldn't triple your horsepower, but you'll feel as though your bike is more reactive to your throttle play.

My initial disclaimer still stands. :goodluck:

I put in about 2 balls (don't think dirty) every 3 months. Or once a month if I travel a little more and fuel up a little more.

I can assure you that it hasn't done more harm than good for my bike. I ride an FW plate by the way.

But I believe that if you don't trust it then don't ride it...

It is your bike and hence, your call...

Well actually no I have not. Do tell me more! I have used octane booster before, but I felt no discernible difference. But I wouldn't mind trying something new I think...

Thank you.

it's the CBR150 spare parts manual, contributed by Uncle Lim.

the CBR150 manual teaches you where you wheels are, where to put the key, what the different coloured light mean...

I cant even go up to 140kph. LOL..... No skill mah.

Talking about TS, WhiteFang, I met ah pek CBR rider CCK here. He told me that he cant go faster than 80 or 90 kph (forgot alrdy). When I asked him to go overhaul he told me, he just overhauled his bike , but that didnt solve the problem. Could it be the same problem with ur bike?

Guys, u know what I found on this ah pek CBR? I saw a fan, usually used for desktop CPU, installed in his bike. What do you think guys? :D

:faint:

actually the challenge is to find a fan (must be made of metal to prevent melting) of the correct voltage and power rating as our battery/charging system leh.

anyway, i feel that the ah pek could have kena ketoh by the motorshop he went to. either the shop cheated his money completely or they are sucky.
