anybody managed to keep any stickers on yr exhaust end-can w/o melting/burning the sticker??

my previous owner use fake carbon sticker to paste, in the end all burnt and when he peeled off, the chrome also came out.

however, i've seen a Hayabusa with a metalic Yoshi tag pasted with sponge double sided tape, looked ok. or you can try Juzz Wheelzz. i think they got recommendation for sticker to paste on exhaust.

Guys ... i just changed the plug(used 12100 km) wt OWS Iridium. still testing.. :D

then, i got vibration a lot at front faring in these days.. I checked all screw n nuts..nothing s wrong... I hated that vibration sounds.. noise for me .. :D

Yeah man, my bike is vibrating quite a fair bit as well. (yeah he makes me happy)

But the fairings falling off and stuff is worrisome...

Plus I think due to my fall, my front disc brakes are a little warped. I need a second opinion though. I brake relatively fine. But it's not currently the most ideal condition.

Haizz...

Vibration came after EO or plug or petrol change? I meant "change" is changing brand.

Btw, what do u mean by OWS Iridium? OWS is a brand isit? I nvr heard ler, me so noob. :giddy: U DIY the plug or go bike shop change?

or

black big plastic with orange honeycomb?

Ok ok relac 1 by one.. lol

The needle change only.. it think 20 plus.. Did it at hua chin.. I think mech nvr tune for me the carb.. no idea lol...

ya i think its the petrol filter.. cos its white in colour cyclindrical in shape. With the ends of the cyclinder small small one. If i not wrong the fuel tank got a rubber hose [small one] going into it.. then its connected to else where...

That one also worth 20 over bucks i think.. lol... air filter also 20 over bucks.. lol

but now my bike runs well... tried 120 like tat.. RPM ard 8 9 like tat.. cant rly see cos kena block by erp.. V happy with my bike for now.. and also my fair vibrates a bit la... but what to do.. oldie liao.. another 500km.. my brake pads gg to change lo.. anyshop to recc?

sounds like a good thing to do.

my rpm is 8k when i'm going at 100km/h. and beyond that, its very hard to go any faster, the bike feels like its been strangled or held back by something (and no, i was not at bt timah going towards PIE changi airport. stupid guys. lol)

do u think a change in carb needle, air filter and oil-whatever will help? hmmm..

small white cylinder (with both ends connected to rubber hoses) located at the right side, under the petrol tank, hidden behind the frame: confirm guarantee stamp plus chop 'air filter'. costs $7 at Everfit. air cleaner (one inside airbox) costs $11 at Everfit. w/o installation charges.

my recommendation, change:

1) spark plug (stock NGK CR8E) $8

2) air cleaner (probably never change before) $7

3) air filter (if you don't remember changing before) $11

Another thing is that, the needle I got last yr is @ 18bucks, original Japan for Super4. Not sure bout urs. Last time, they just agak2 tune for me after changing the needle. After changing needle, confirm need to tune the carb 1. Did the guy told u that the needle head (black rubber), wear out alrdy?

Some said yes, its bit inaccurate. By around 10%. Not sure though. :D

U want to catch up with R1? :giddy: My friend who owns R1 told me that he can reach 280 kph, not yet full throttle. So..... imagine lor.

There is only 1 way to catch up with R1. Both pump full tank*, then race for 300 km route. :D

*No re-pump is allowed.

im at CCK central near the mosque & polyclinic.

anyway, i think zed may be right to dignose the component as the air filter for valve. cause i dont recall seeing any petrol filter for our bike as well :p at least i didnt see anything of the sort when i removed the fuel tank and fuel hose connected to carburettor.

it's situated right under the tank, with a black tube connected to it. the black tube comes from the general direction of the fuel tank, so it's easy to misjudge. as mentioned previously, out bike got no oil filter. the closest i can see is this 'oil screen' way inside the engine. but that's flat.

simple test: since it's an oil filter, did the filter look oily when he took out? dirty yes, oily no.

you want to change your air filter too? bike so new, no need la. some more next month you change S4 right?

Erh... Very near. Can recommend good place & food to eat or not around there? :cheeky:

Agree, I nvr seen anything on the pipe which connect carb & tank. However, I know that there is something like fuel filter, which can enhance our bike performance. Its optional by the owner whether or not to install this fuel filter. I was told by my brother who install this filter on his bike. So, can it be his bike's previous owner installed this filter? Who knows? :cheeky:
