i had a bit of travelling to do today, from the east to school in queensway, then to the east for tuition and then to town for dinner.

during the part of going to town for dinner, i felt my bike was wobbling quite a bit, and turning was met with some resistance and it was difficult to handle, almost skidding a few times.

aft town was done, i had the same problem going back too. and aft reaching my carpark, i took a look, and the rear tyre was almost flat.

how does this happen? such an odd thing.. i mean, how can the tyre deflate by itself in such a sudden and big amount?

I say you probably have a puncture in the tyre. The good news is that since your bikes has a tubeless tyre we dont have to remove the tyre to repair the puncture. If you want to find where the puncture is here is a trick I used

Fully inflate the tyre first. Then get some water with car was in a small spray can. Spray the water into the tyre while rotating it. The spot where the air is leaking will make loads of bubles. (Use a high concentration of car wash in water cause that will make more bubles and make it easy to see the spot where it leaks.)

Hi guys

Have any one of you installed crash protectors/frame slides in your bike?

our options are the CBR125 ones, but they are expensive.

if you have a cheaper alternative, i would like to hear!

I also checked out the CBR 125 ones. As you said they are really expensive. But there was a couple of ones in E-BAY originating from hong kong. They were universal ones. So I was assuming you guys have them over there in bike shops or something.

DAVID that very normal for rear tyre to finish first ..yr rear is the leader for the bike as zhenyuan say that the one that drive yr bike and most peole will use rear brake more than front so rear will finish faster..

dont just change brake pad lah change hel brake hose front change brembo pump yr brake will never fail u liao even in high speed haha

hi not that do not want to do so as for our bike fairing ,is becourse our fairing is consider cheap compare to big bikes so if u want to put can but must drill to yr main body which is not advice to cos if the main body have problem the bike can throw liao .. if u choose to put at fairing our fairing is too soft to mount it so seriously think b4 install

probably u had a pin which punctured ur tyre. and since its tubeless tyre, it wont just "explode" immediately. so im guessing the pin somehow came off, and air slowly seeped out. Hence u wouldnt be able to feel the "exploding" effect of a tyre puncture.

One of my friends had this problem back in NS. So he went to the shop and when his mech removed the pin.... "tsssssssssssssssssss" :giddy:

I would say she is super lucky. If I were her, I would have called for towing service either in the middle of the road or the dinner place where she parked her bike.

I would not risk if I feel something is not right with my bike, even if its just few km away from destination.

Shaun, next time if u feel something is wrong, pls stop at the side road to re-check ur bike condition, ok?

hi, i dunnoe whether does it helps...

During the motorshow, i check with the Honda dealer using my bike as a downpayment for CB400 Revo.

> CB400Revo $11.5k OTR (if i m not wrong)

> price offer to dealer for downpayment = $2k(making wild guess as i m not interested to change bike yet :p)

> price i need to pay $9.5k OTR

> the dealer called his boss and accept my offer.

i checked with the dealer wat factors will affect the price of the bikes

he gave me the following

main concern > Bike Engine,

i) overhual was done b4? if overhual was done, and wat type of overhual was done(top overhual? full overhual?)

ii) Running-in. was it properly done? It might subsequently affect the performance of the bike.

the dealer told me that if overhual/running not properly done, subsequently the bike engine will have of "knocking sound" when idling @ first start of the day(i.e. EO haven't go up to lub the pistons).

Pls brother, we still can earn money no matter how much we have lost. But we canNOT get back our life if something happen. Rmbr what the instructor said just now, bike condition might cause accident to happen. Think it over & over again. The one that touch the ground is tyre, when the tyre is not fit for u to ride,

1. Will u insist to ride & risk ur life? Or

2. Will u stop, call & pay for towing service?

If u still think the first 1 is ur choice, I really got nothing to say.

Its impossible that u dont have money to pay towing service while u have money to pump petrol. Anyway, its not all about rich or poor, its about "Safety First" concept. :thumb:
