No choice if that was the case. Anyway, read from somewhere said that Thailand made tyre wont last longer than Japan made tyre. So bear with it for half a year maybe, then get it changed. :angel:

Anyways, does a disc brake be worn out? I'm told that it can and I've also been told that all you need is to change brake pads, rebleed and change brake cables if your rear feels like the braking power is reduced...

 

Help out this noob guys...

hi all need your help.. Can a car headlight light bulb be used on our CBR??

 

Its a 12v 55W light bulb...i read the manual but was unsure.. can anyone help me???

bulbs come with different connectors and rating.

a 12V 55W bulb is very unlilkely to be able to fit our headlight casing.

ya just found out abt it.. The connectors are different connectors... :angry: so sad :(

 

 

anyway.. whats the reccomended duration to flush yr coolant huh... per 6 mths? per 3 month?

 

 

Or per year? And how about checking whether coolant enough water or not.. and whats the reccomended coolant to add in? :thumb:

Many of us may be missing the stock bolts for the side cowl. (See image 1) This may be due to the installation of a rack, or removed for some other reason. Your previous owners might have done one of the above, that explains the unsightly hole in the side. Or you could be like David, taking it out and forgetting where he put it. These items can be bought at Everfit, prices before government profit.

 

Image 2: 83641-KY2-700 (Spacer, side) $2

Image 3: 83642-KY2-700 (Collar, side) $2

Image 4: 90116-KPP-900 (Bolt, side cowl) $2.50

 

These 3 items are only for one side, if you need both side then you'll need another set. I hope you find this useful!

Its either once in 2 years or once every 30000km. If you ask my opinion I flush it every 1.5 years or 20k. Cause its not that expensive if you DIY.

 

For recomended coolant the manual suggests coolant without phospates and warns that premature water pump wear will occur if coolant with phospates is used. Its better if you can find a coolant without phospates and silicates.

 

And remember always flush with distrilled water not with tap water. Since distrilled water is sooo cheap dont take any chances.

URGENT BROS!

 

problem of the month: spoilt IU.

 

i need to get to school at queensway by 9am. i live in marine parade and usually take the ECP/AYE to exit at Portsdown Rd.

 

Is there any alternative route for me to take to avoid the IU around that time?

 

I have classes in the morning, and exams in the noon. I really need the transport. PLS HELP! =(
