noe him so long liao...

the honda stock bulb need 12 volts to work and the power is 18watt...

the aftermarket stanley bulb oso need 12 volts to work and the power is 25watt..

(18/18) or (25/25) means the (power ratings during low beam/during high beam)

the aftermarket bulb disperse more heat than the honda stock bulb..

25w>18w

understand le??

Good Morning .............. fella CBR riders, here is something U might wan to know but cannot use.

Philips NightGuide Halogen bulbs - they dun make them in HS form lolxx .............

A totally new lighting technology designed to reach new levels of performance on the road & in your aisles.

Philips NightGuide is the most advanced, highest performance upgrade lighting we’ve ever offered – a single headlamp bulb that produces a tri-color beam for new levels of driving safety & performance.

The ultimate lighting upgrade for safety-minded drivers. A dramatic lighting improvement for performance-oriented drivers.

A totally unique visual style for turners & custom car enthusiasts.

Philips NightGuide 3-in-1 lighting technology is based on extensive night vision research. We learned that while white light improves perception of details, blue light produces better readability of roadside signage. And although bright white light provides the best visibility for distance, it can be perceived as blinding by oncoming drivers.

NightGuide creates 3 distinct visual zones for the driver. In the centre zone, NightGuide provides a billiant white light, with a beam up to 50 feet longer than standard halogens, for improved vision & reaction time. In the right zone, blue light provides increased readability of road signs & markers. In the left zone, a warmer yellow light reduces glare for oncoming cars & helps improve the driver’s concentration on the centre zone.

Statistics show that a third of accidents & almost half of traffic fatalities occur at night. At night, our vision is reduced by 70% - color disappear, contrast fades away & we are often blinded by oncoming drivers.

We designed NightGuide specifically to overcome these problems. Using our advance new tri-color beam technology, NightGuide maximizes nighttime visibility & driving comfort.

wow, looks exciting man! motards can drift like cars do around corners right? cool stuff!

u have so many bikes dun u find u hard to accustomed to the different handling all the time?

Yeah it's awesome fun and really gets the adrenalin pumping through your system. =)

The top riders on 4-stroke bikes slide the rear into corners due to the engine compression braking when they downshift but on a 2-stroke like mine it doesn't really happen. Not the ideal bike for Motard racing but it's still fun. Actually even in the expert class in Singapore the main rider sliding into corners was the winner who was a rider brought in from Australia especially for the race.

The main problem I have is when I've been riding the CBR150 lots and I hop on the 929. It feels very heavy (despite being light for big bike at only 170kgs) and hard to turn at first. Best way to get accustomed to riding it again is to have a short hard and fast ride. And a regular track session really helps. Switching between the 150 and the KTM isn't much of a problem as both bikes are just a tad over 100kgs. The power delivery is VERY different but that's not that hard to get used to either.

My theory is that the more often you switch between bikes the better rider you become. Adaptable.

=p

Hope your injuries heal soon man.

wow thanks for the explanation on motards drifting through corners! really learnt something new cuz i always thought 2 strokers will be powerful enough to do drifts better than 4 strokers.

i kinda agree with ur theory actually. i guess i skidded because i wasn't adaptable enough, gotta learn next time i guess, if i can ever get to ride again.

thanks for your concern, my injuries will take a while i guess, doctor put a needle in today to try to suck out the fluid in my knee but wasn't too successful, the blood had clotted up. :giddy: :giddy:
