yes, you can go directly to scrap yards and buy parts, Derrick and I tried to find CBR150 parts before. because CBR150 is such a reliable bike, unless COE over and don't want to renew or bike crash until total, which is highly impossible cos all CBR150 riders are safe and sensible (minus Lacers like Derrick and now Zong Ren), the chances of CBR150 being scraped is very low.

 

unless you going to buy NSR150 swing-arm to fix.

Oh ya, forgotten. Good, she will be very much encouraged by the bike that is waiting for her. Actually she very lucky sia, bike wait her, not she wait the bike. I believe most of the case, people wait for bike, not the other way round.

Actually if u calculate again, the price is not that bad. Machine price alrdy 13.5k (ABS) + Insurance + Road Tax + COE. Let say total price is 15k. That means the interest is only 5k for 6YRS. If u think its ridiculous, y not u lend him 15k now and u will get 20k in the next 6yrs? Do u think 5k interest for 6yrs is ridiculous?

REVO is almost a perfect bike for SGP road, except 2 things. 1 is the maintainance and the other is the ugly exhaust. New exhaust (chrome) is very nice (shiny), but it will turn brownish in color later on. 2cents.

I beg to differ, i wont say that revo is a perfect bike FOR NOW. perhaps another 5 years later when all shops in SG the mech knows how to do a EFI bike.. cos now all the mech [old ones] have lots of experience in donig carb bikes.. but non know how to do the EFI ones... only the younger ones know how to play.. but then, their workmanship is like ... and i dont think we all would like mech to spoil our beloved bikes right..

 

also, doing EFI bike now not cheap also what.. engineering students should know electrical n electronic cockup the worst to rectify.. cos it dont show any physical signs... unlike mechanical, see crack or break into 2 must change.. so tahts what i think lar..

 

so EFI bikes.. for me as of now.. a big no no [for me].. i would think spec 2 is a good enough bike le... cheap, reasonable, people know how to repair and do the bike.. thats good for me..
