was heading over to cold storage to buy some snacks after supper at alameen

But now still go some problem... Engine Oil Leaking.... And when clutch-in to early the engine will die....

 

Anyone can advice...???

Er, for clutch in nearly die, i think the carb tuning run off liao? Maybe need to open carb and wash and re tune lo, then again i might be wrong.

 

 

As for EO leaking, where leaking which part? AT the bottom or some random place at the side?

 

please advice.

But i still suggest you go back to the shop and ask the uncle cos he the one who touched yr bike. Yr radiator got do ma? or u just patch only?

After paying labour charges of s$120 & EO still leaking - your LBS is dam lousy sia ?

Radiator not easy to patch - I tried twice then gave up bought a new set. Labour charges for patching was s$25 but the shop at Opal Crescent did mentioned no warranty. so no choice .............

that place looks like near the drain plug. the plug got plug in properly or not?

or might be crankcase gasket crack or leak?

ever encounter this while i was getting some repair work done at the shop which i bought my 2nd hand cbr150 frm.

 

a regular w/ the shop left his class2A sportbike w/ the shop to do servicing i.e. change oil, spark plug.

 

after starting the bike and idling for a few mins, the bike start spewing coolant water. they merely off the engine and then push the bike aside ready for collection by the regular customer. i suspect i will never step into that shop again. they did a crappy repair job for me too.

gee thats really crappy nonsense. if it were me i'll just stand there, look at my bike... then look at the mechanic again.

oh btw Heng Motor is really gd. when i change EO this young guy does it for me... he's young and inexperienced so he took a longer time to change.... but it was ok for me cos he had good after-service. change liao... help me jet spray the parts of the bike which he touched with his greasy hands.

 

last time also tighten chain at this shop at bukit merah... forget to see the shop name cos that time early morning and that was the only shop that was open. tightening costs $1 and after tightening... at night it was back to the previous tension again -.-

 

then i went heng motor and let this young chap tighten it for me. excellent job i must say. tighten really nice.... and it has stayed relatively tight till now. almost a month already.

after ride for half and hour do ur bike get very hot???expressway ride

 

remove the side + bottom fairings. wipe clean yr engine crank case (both sides and bottom) then u proceed for a ride. if there is a leak, shouldnt be too difficult to spot oily spots bah.

 

alternatively, to confirm it is not an overflow situation, i guess u juz need to trace the overflow hose frm engine crankcase. it is somewhere near to bundle of other hoses at the bottom centre of our bike. if u were to peep under the right footrest u will see them. cable tie a puny plastic bag or piece of cloth to the end of the correct hose and take yr bike for a ride.

 

juz my 2cents worth of suggestions...

correct, if EO leak or over flow, is one of the several drain pipes at the bottom of the bike. If i not wrong mine is the one the tube is covered one, and i think i have a few over flowed EO in the tube, its kinda gross, its like become grease liao. I think thats the one.

 

 

 

and oh, Matt [FBD 2 day old CBR] just got into accident again, he flipped he told me...

 

so now he is buying a mirror and his normal foot rests for the rider one. MAybe later today i'll drop by everfit.

 

 

I need to go everfit because ytd i drop my colleague's bike, luckily is a cbr150 too, red colour fbc plate, so i left a note saying i will compensate and today i went to talk to him and he told me to go get the mirrors can le.
