Ur 1 tank petrol can finish in a week?

 

my petrol still got left 3L at the end of 7 days. But cheap petrol hard to come by, so just fill only la.

i thought signal must always in orange? no ah? that means if can other colour i gonna chg my signals to maybe red or shtg. but in LEDs of course.

 

u r right abt the part on signals muz be orange color.

 

but after i managed to find a bulb of suitable color to change, in the eyes of others, the signals will continue to be orange. but to me, it will be other color.

this is the ultimate stage of bulb mod.

 

it is quite impossible to change to LED bulb for our signals unless u r prepared to change a signal relay. reason being the wattage for LED is much lower than the 10W bulb we have. as such, it won't work/blink at the same old regular speed our signals currently do.

his CBR is like normal cbr just like all of us, only his one got class 2 boxes and repsol paintwork which is not original from honda one.

 

If Im not wrong, there is a year CBR150 came out repsol model. Is Don repsol original from manufacturer or he did the paintwork?

but the paintwork on my bike is non-original the day i got the bike (2nd hand).

it does resemble the 2003 repsol paintwork abit though.

 

i tink one other reason why my bike may look different is that i have a 45litre rear spoiler mounted.

he has got some display sets outside his shop front mah.

the usual ones for Givi are Slim 26litre, Point 33litre, Simply 45litre.

for other brands, there is a 42litre one. e.g. LTD, Kappa.

 

at the end of the day, u gotta choose:

- outlook (shape)

- color (matt black, gloss black, other glossy colors)

- capacity

- lock mechanism (mechanism for 33litre vs 45litre is different)

 

did i mention that once u get a rear box, yr gf automatically stops leaning forward when u pillion her during normal riding? maybe during jams or traffic squeezing, then she will lean forward.

ya i know can 120. but the thing is, 120 but strgguling like mad. somemore my bike is older than yours la... many sun, moon and rain has passed. so yeap. dont wanna strain it too much la..

ok guys i saw a cbr under my block the mscp there. It does catches my eyes in term of beauty-ness.I think the owner mod the front mirror. It also does look nicer overall. Im really cbr150 retards.

For 2003 models the mirrors are not like what u seen on the pict. for 2003 model is only avaliable in silver, maroon and repsol paint work. silver and maroon are the most seen one on the road. for 2003 and 2005 edition only the mirror is differ and certain parts. Else, all are the same.

 

 

as for 2005, the paint work comes in more variety and the chasis is painted in matt black. The paint work is red, yellow, black, grey and blue. I have seen red, yellow, blue n black on the road.

 

 

basically is the same as 2003, only several parts differ, and also the meter backing colour also different only. Else all the same.

 

both are still 4 stroke, 10L tank and 150cc with DOHC.

main differences between the cbr150 u c in his avatar versus mine:

- my rims have got a silver/chrome lining

- his mainframe is black while mine is silver

- his mirrors are positioned on the head fairing while i repositioned mine on the handlebar

- his bike is much newer than mine

 

in closeup view, actually there a quite a number of chips + 1 crack + 1 dent on my bike.

2003 model Vs 2005 model of CBR.

 

2003 model the side stand design is different.

2003 model the chasis is silver 05 is matt black.

2003 model cannot be fitted on 05 model, vice versa.

2003 mirrors differ from 2005 mirrors.

2003 meter backing differs from 2005.

2003 model is using old key ignition, 2005 onwards using really special keys.

Certain model the engine casing is black instead of grey.

 

 

resale value of bike in SG is more towards paperwork value actually, so if yr bike is FBD bike can get up to 5K for 2nd hand CBR.

 

i think la. not too sure though.
