i think many of the mods that are done to increase performance of other bikes are generally applicable for cbr150 as well.

 

what specific improvement do u wish to see?

better pickup? top speed? cornering?

Hey sry, was busy for the whole week. I wish to see improvement on top speed and cornering. Anyway after riding for a month, i felt that it is rather difficult to corner with CBR150.

if i were you i will get a racing footrest. because your bike is tall. so clearance wise not a problem, you can go quite low with it. you just have to keep ur rpm in the best responsive zone.

 

for top speed i have no idea, perhaps you wanna get a bigger rear sprocket? this is more chim you gotta seek help from the pros

 

for eg, regardless of what gear im in, i would keep my rpm in the 5000-7000 mark. thats for my bike last time. keep it in that zone, throttle and get the best line out of a corner!

aiya.. it's a story for another time, but in short, this is not the original paintwork. my bike is a 2nd hand '02 version, but i had a new paintjob (current one) done when i bought it (previous owner sprayed it red&white, which actually was a pretty nice colour combo).

 

haha. orhh. I saw yours i thought its original. anyway then like that i only seen 1 original repsol paint work for cbr lor.

 

@ heng motors toh guan, kena buanged badly and now sitting and waiting for insurance claim.. cos when i 1st time go there i see liao then 2nd time go and buy bulb [after so long] i still see it there..

I not too sure. Heard bout it frm mechanic. He said CBR1k is the worst bike as far as changing plug is concerned. He said dono need to take out tank, air box or whatever. Cant really rmbr. :cheeky:

 

well cbr1k also my fav bike. after much pragmatism thinking i decided to settle for cbr 600. 08 model

 

REPSOL PAINT WORK.. cos that time i saw one cbr 600 exhaust back fired and i saw blue flames.. damn..

 

i rmb when i saw it, i shouted in my helmet..

no, it's not like that. now that i think of it, actually the previous paintjob was really nice. the previous owner was a lady rider, and her bike was completely white with red honda wings at the fuel tank. it could pass off as a NSR from far.

 

and as for the feb15 thing, i cant confirm right now. will post my attendance when the date draws closer. yeap.

haha a white CBR! i see b4 i see b4! but the owner is a terrible owner. Its in white gloss paint work, black chasis frame clour, FZ plate owner is a indian guy, the bike never wash for like decades liao, rear light assembly also dropping out.

 

its bike acty quite nice leh. its pure white, glossy type. no stickers. black stock rims.

I think for mine sweet spot is a 6k rpm @ 80.

 

if corner i will approach the corner fast, take outer line, brakkkkkeeee, down gear, [depending on speed down 1 or 2 gear] then lean in, acclrate out

 

rmb your eyeline is impt. i practise this when from my hse going to aYE there is this something like a roundabout going to clementi ave 6.

 

but becareful many many sand. :thumb:

a bigger rear sprocket will give u faster pick up but at high speed, letting go of the throttle causes u to slow down much faster also.

its quite ex otr due to the raise in jap yen. it went from 13.5k to 15k but i still got it, and i paid full cash for it. just like my cbr

where to find minimal oil ??

 

just go for the cheapest/cheaper type of engine oil u can find in the motordiam. those are probably mineral type.

A very happy 2009 to all CBReans and fellow riders! Want to relive the days of having good ol' ALL AMERICAN FOOD? Feel like having a juicy coney dog? Maybe a sinfully sweet root beer float? Or just a simple side of chilli cheese fries? Not appetising enough?

i ever saw a S4 with this lights... not bad.... their rear signal light setup is separate from the tail section. something like Zed's one... his one calefare signal lights. :angel:

eh..mine are only front signals will light up

rear signals operate as per normal.
