d0n^ , thank you for the feedback - does the light seems white to you - it does seem to be white if you increase the RPM. Pls try it ..........

Hmmmmmmm this DAY DRIVING LIGHTs thingy is similar to having bikers on their headlights upon ignition. So itis a saftey issue, besides LEDs consume much less power compare to headlights. Most new cars will come with this feature by law in many countries - Europe already enforcing them.

 

I personlly think they look cool & safe. Wat do u think ?

after i started using yr lapis blue bulbs for the family car, all other bulbs appear less white than i want them to already.

 

anyway, don't quite notice the bulb light becoming whiter on higher rpms. but on idling, they look slightly less yellowish than normal bulbs. would love to have them whiter~

was quoted $25 for 12led 1.5w made in japan by a forumer in the mazda2 forum.

Heeee heeee mine hor is 15led 12v 2.5w at s$35 per strip or 2.35c each ......... I will cut to yr requirment but if u need longer i can also entend no limit extension

i tink u should have the led strips shorter and in white color.

then stick/line them along the bottom of the headlight casing like some particular model of Audi car that i saw on the road.

Well my problem is in application - there 4 colors

Red - stop lights

Amber - Signal Lights

White - Cabin lights

 

leaving only Blue with no application - so i wan to try blue as DAY DRIVING LIGHTS.

the other time u were telling me to use blue pole light to complement white headlight right?

tink blue shows up more strikingly at night.

can consider using them to cast shadows/beams on the ground when u open car/van doors.

 

if not, can stick 2 separate strips on the top of the windscreen and wire them to alternate blink when u meet a road hogger.
