the stock headlights are more than bright enuff for any application, including riding down across the causeway at nigth along roads without streetlamps. most of us change to white light for the look and not for any requirement for better projection than the stock lights :cheeky:

100kmh, depends wat gear u choose to go at. the redline is at 13.5k rpm and u can hit 100kmh in first gear at 11k rpm around there. in 6th gear 100kmh ur only at bout 6k rpm. i kind of like cruising in 110kmh in 4th gear at 9k rpm, dam shiok drive from the engine though obviously u burn more petrol.

the bike is hot, but bearable once u get used to it. u wont end up hating it or anything. even the pillion rider wont get hot buns form the underseat exhaust, tho obviousy shdn itchy finger touch the exhaust pipe or heat protector like my dad did :sian:

btw, i've got 'diamond vision' but not philips brand. its got the same wattage rating as the stock lights. my batt probs started long after i installed them, so i dun think its any issue.

oic thanks for the reply..

btw hows the FC ? heard its the same as 1000cc true ?

if changing the endcan to carbon fibre type will reduce heat for pillion ?

myself and another RRider here gets 15 km/L. others have claimed 17 to 18 km/L. it is quite high, even considering the fact it is a 600cc sportsbike.

but personally, about FC, i'd like to add that if 15 km/L is a problem, then perhaps shd re-think the feasibility of a class2 bike in the first place. yes its high, but other class2 bikes with 'better' FC doesn really save enuff that one would suddenly be able to afford it. and altho its possible to ride the 600RR everywhere under 6k rpm even when cruising along e-way at 100kmh.... u'd really miss out and what the 600RR is really about, unless u plan to bring to track regularly. its like a schizophrenic; totally different personalities when ridden at 6k rpm and at 10k rpm. half the time i ride gently at 6k rpm, the other half of the time when the roads are clear i onli use the first 4 gears and have loads of fun. no offence yah, i dunno ur intentions in buying the bike or ur riding style, i just telling it like it is.

ur pillion rider will NOT experience problems of hot seat despite the exhaust being underseat. all my guy pals complain more of backaches (tho on my part.... who cares them rite, wanna pillion can sit, dowan their problem.... :cheeky: ). my fiance surprisingly refuses to complain about anything when pillion riding even on trips from clementi to changi. donno whether realli she comfortable or scared later complain i dun bring her anymore, coz she enjoys riding pillion.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

btw, if u realli decide to buy that time, ask the salesman open up the pillion seat and show u the storage compartment, and u think about whether u can live with that. its no joke, the storage is pathetically small.

well i guess if ur already riding a class2 bike now, then u noe how it is.

but seriously... this bike at 5k rpm and at 10k rpm, its like 2 different bikes. and if ur already on a class2 bike now, i dare say if u take it only to 5 or 6k rpm, u'll feel like ur riding a class2a. i'm realli not joking, ask any other RRider here. this bike needs u to heck care the FC to gain the most fun out of it.

phill - FC shd never be a deciding factor if u are looking at any sportbike type.whether it 1k or 600.all will drink more petrol then a street or tour type.

mechwira - wow...ur gf good siahz....pillon also no complain.but then i NEVER pillion.so no such problem.

Headlight switch..............

Main purpose

Easier and lighter cranking up the engine.

You can hear the different cranking sound with and without headlight

Is LEGAL

BUT after the engine start, the switch become ILLEGAL.

Good say, good say... :thumb:
