wats the difference between the lock type and slip on ?

is yours with air mesh 1 ?

Mine is the normal one with a slight hump on top. Got many negative feedback bout the air mesh or known as war eagle seat cowl. Some say cannot fit properly, the rubber pad infront instead of rubber padding they use plastic padding with screws, raining jialat...etc As im buying from the net, dun wish to take the risk..

I guess the lock type is like our OEM leather seat cowl where once fixed can use the key to unlock it. The slip on is like those moulded kind. I went to Motor World, its cost 220 the slip on seat cowl, to spray topup another 40 bucks.

(Bro NC, pls correct me if im wrong)

PS: Uncle hock, i ordered the movistar seat cowl. Its for the 06 movistar, slight diff in color oni.. :cheer:

woah,,,

can i join u in the race for obtaining the rear seat cowl...??

prefer the 1000rr ones...with two airvents covered with mesh...

looks nice n it sure does fit to our 600rr...

:lovestruck: :bouncefire: :thumb:

Our brother CB1000 type with mesh on top cannot fit ours. However, I'm trying to source out some contacts from overseas to get the mesh type to fit into our 6RR. Price-wise, definitely cheaper than what Mah is selling. And also cheaper than what 600.net is selling. Problem is, I need to find that contact no... Heh... :help:

he is refering to those ERMAX type.

which are just slip-on to the original seat cowl.

it comes in fiberglass color ,so need respray lor.

original Honda seat cowl comes with factory color code.

color matching is 99% (assume for the same year model)

but note that USA model got two "black".1 matt black for 03/04 & 05/06 onwards is "bright black" aka same as UK model.

but bro....

i have had try n put the cb1000rr seat cowl n it sure fits nicely into ours seats...

its the lock type with no padding infront of it...

juz a normal two air vents mesh on top of it...

GueSS WHo bro...

yup....mOtorWoRLd did quote me the same price as urs...$220

its the slip on type using (maybe) silicon to hold the brackets..

same as BT21 offerings...

so our bro here brought in frm fellow 600rr.net members plus shipping like 230++ ...

it sure cheaper than in s;pore....
