hi guys, I am only getting about 220km when the last bar starts to blink. I seldom rev above 7k rpm. Only mods I did were exhaust, air filter and power commander but I did not expect it to differ so much from what you guys are getting.

 

I installed all the mods after hard run in at racewerks so I have no bench mark against my stock settings. Any comments what could be the issue?

 

wah tt's quite bad leh.. which exhaust you have on your bike? mayb due to the custom map racewerks did for you i guess.. i'm running in and i'm getting about 266km when the last bar starts blinking. my frnd after run-in is getting about 290km when the last bar starts blinking.

i might be letting go of my full set race fairing as i m seriously underutlising it.. went to pg once with this fairing... didn't fall wif it... my work's getting very busy nowadays, no time to go track... if anyone here is interested, please pm me for more details...

come to think of it, if he borrowed it, then my bike will be naked!

Hmmm... Could be the tuning not properly done.... Just my guess, anyway, check ur tyre pressure and try to pump ur petrol really to the brim... N clock ur mileage again....

Wow... Ur friend's bike damn power lah.... So good mileage.... Mine b4 and after run in oni can get around 260-270 depending on how i ride.... Than the last bar will start blinkin liao...

 

Anyway, our bike got fuel jets mah?

Hmmm... Maybe ur riding style a bit more fierce thats y... Or maybe u always kana jams... Maybe u try to open ur throttle more slowly and gradually.... See if it helps to get u more mileage...

thanks for replying ,i belive is the way i drive cos in highway i can drive more than 120km and easly jam at the normal jam (eg: evening time and toward orchard area), i find tat the more i go the more petrol it take

im still doing my running in, when i accelerate gradually,i can hear ticking sound.. (the sound is similar to Super4 when ppl so call it nid to do valve clearance) its not that loud the sound, just that im very particular bt such weird sounds.. hehehe help any1? is this normal??? never had a chance u mit u guys & compare...

 

my mileage jus hit 1k btw, i run in never fast pick-up & never above rpm 6

Hmmm.... U may wanna send ur bike to a trusted mech to check it out?? I think there was somebody who had the same prob as u.... I can't remember though.... But than, it could be a loose screw, best is to get it checked....

From everyone's millage status,

best is 292km -> which most of us cannot reach.

worst is 220km -> i tink u din top ur petrol to the brim.

 

Roughly the millage u get for a full tank is about 230km ~ 270km (according to wat u guys & gals mention in the past). within this range shld be quite safe.

 

Really best way to find out is to top ur tank to the brim like what Prankster mention.
