my bike is from Mah and its also jap spec. ridiculous that japan exports the euro colours to us.

so is it with 180kmh cut or what?

and what does 180kmh cut mean? cannot go beyond 180kmh? or at 180kmh can go faster but no power?

i onli noe the manufacturers decide to have a restriction of 180mph top end for their hypersports, the haya and the zx-12 and the new zx-14 too i guess. but thats 180 miles per hour.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

and who got auto-roaming handphone?

JDM as all along have 180km/hr speed cut.(means u cant go higher then that lor)

it apply to cars too. imagine...WRX/EVO/skyline GTR doing 180km/hr.lolz :faint:

it a "electronic cut" aka soft cut from ECU(car),CDI(bike).

a speed cut defender will "remove" the 180km/hr limit.

not sure abt bike...for cars...a simple pviot speed meter($110) can "remove" the speed cut liao.

this one had to track back to "history" liao.

SG used to be UK colonial....even till now.

alot of "Standard" were using UK's style.

from english spelling to euro emission to Gov setup....etc.

Yes,we are asian country but we use UK standard.

so of course honda ship the "euro spec" to us.

*then there is the "japs keep the best for themself" issue.

in cars....the JDM always have better accessorys/performance then "export spec".

wah uncle hock,

the spec i can understand, but the bike is UK spec manufactured in japan. if i'm not wrong the jap spec made in japan is the US colours. paint it for us in those colours too! leave the UK colours for the factories in europe!

superbike coming? he never put his name on the list.

if u can guide us there good lor. i think we all need someone to show us procedure when we reach. once we on track, if got someone teach us track riding stuff then good, if dun have we take it slow.

btw what type of knee guard u planning to get? hikaru say those roller blade type good enough. that type, if my knee touch the floor still ok? or best not to touch?

unless work for honda japan...or else very hard to know the reason.

main thing that comes to mind is cost. 1 production line is enough to supply the world.

plus cost saving on paint/metarial/labour.

reason why Goldwing is made in USA is also due to "market location".japs very hard to find BiG bikes/tour....car is so cheap there.

oh..they like supersport bike....not touring.they take K class car go mountian "caught monkey in a car"....:bounce:

oh..i mean BEN....always refer to de wrong guy....lolz :faint:

in all honesty....i really not very good in bike track.

pre-check & misc...i still can share...but turning line...gear to use..etc..i not good in that...for cars...i do coach those newbie wrx/civic drivers but not for bike.i not trained nor well-equip for that.

knee-guide.

roller blade type - Yes & NO.

roller blade type offer front knee protection not side.

but look at actual bike knee guard..it actualy offset outwards.

beguinner stage...yes,if u have it at home..why not use it.better then RAW meal.yeah?

but after u are "well-riden"..then that roller blade type will under-serve u liao..."skill improve? " then those real bike knee guard is the type to go for.

then there is cost...if the bike type is just $20~$30 more...may as well go for the bike type str.atless the equipment lifespan/usage cycle...will serve u longer then de roller blade type.

actually right, set-up and that stuff i not so concerned. if i'm honest with myself, first track session i doubt i hit my bike's limit until need to adjust settings. got people show me how to get there, how to book, where the facilities, can already.

you mean got slip-on knee guard can wear over my jeans specifically for bike riding? can recommend me where to buy?

i dont intend to go fast so i wont be buying any knee guards...

for newbie, i think the upmost important thing is to get a feel of the layout of the track...

since no one here is going to show us the line...we gotta learn by trial-an-error

i think weekdays shouldnt be too crowded...so the lesser bikes it is, the better for newbies to learn.

i know the way to PG but i dunno which entrance to use... anyway, it shldnt be an issue.

i dont hv roaming but i do hv malaysia's network prepaid line..

maybe we can discuss more during the next meetup.
