Work done by HKL.

 

The total cost of this was 965. Here's the plan... you give me your good condition stock forks and 550, I give you the upgraded forks. This is the fastest, least expensive way to upgrade your front end.

 

We don't have to do the swap this week- but we have to confirm it. Otherwise, the Racetech valves come out and the Ohlins cartridges go in, and once that happens kit will still be on sale for 550, but now you have to pay to have it installed...

 

Other bits coming up for sale:

Arrow slip-on: Right now snow_man has first dibs on it

Arrow collectors:

PC3 mapped by HKL: ideally should go with collectors

K&N air filter:

Bro...don't waste your money on that useless trumpet la...it's only good at making loud & irritating unpleasent noises to the ear...it doesn't perform at all...top up a bit more and get a Leo Vince instead...

You can try other makes also mah...Leo Vince is just an example...Arrow also good...

There are many other makes of Full systems which performs... the problem is between street legal or not only...

 

When no one or very very few is using a particular product is can mean that it is very expensive or it is a piece of total crap...

But he called me no more full system liao.. only slip on..

 

1 thing i dun understand is y the carbon tip is so freaking ex...

ooh? i didnt know ah beng's lv prices are more competitive.. i thought usually bike shop will sell higher than the direct dealer leh.. haha..

 

actually lv pipe all the different model like alloy, titanium, carbon, etc, got no diff in performance right? its jus the looks and cosmetic beauty isnt it? why dun people get the alloy instead? save $$ some more.. haha..

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's partly due to the weight savings. I'm sure there are other reasons though.
