You can actually order your exhaust overseas & submit for inspection that I had confirmed with LTA before...but there are alot of paper work submission to be done & will give you alot of headache plus you cannot be sure that they will 100% legalise the exhaust for use...you can try but not worth it...I heard the rules had changed again...you might want to check it to confirm...

 

When we register exhaust for inspection there must be a local agent document then inspection centre can endorse for you...

 

U forgot to add another point is the exos must be a homologated with cert from tuv etc.. if the exos he wants is those racing pipe he can totally forget abt bringing it in cos lta will nv approve it.

For me I would not touch the sound bafflers if I want to use the bike for daily commuting...it is just not worth...

ya i agree, for daily is quite risky if weekend bike than i think is okie.

 

but i will try to take out and listen at my carpark to c how the sound like. heehee

Hey guys new rider here riding 04 CBR 6.Any idea why it's hard to start the bike when the temp is around 100 deg cel? I need to let it cool down for about 10 mins before i can ride away.Last few weeks when i was at city hall stuck in traffic light temp reached around 104 then it suddenly died.Now im afraid to go to town areas in case the bike died again.any help would be appreciated.Thanks

If you encountered a problem my best advise is to go straight to a mech and get your bike checked...that is the most practical way...]

 

How long have you last service you bike?

When is the last coolant change?

When is the last spark plugs change?

When is the last battery change?

Eh...there should be no catalyzers in the headers...you must be refering to the mid pipe...

To decat will cost around $230 -250... I don't think inspection is an issue...

Try going to Tachyon Motor...did mine there...

fitting is ok ok. good customer service and delivery time.

if im not wrong the safe temp is 115-221c. from the cbr6 manual book..

hi guys. how my rpm meter not working when i throttle.. do u tink is the ECM faulty?

nope i use stock headers. for my style no point changing headers cos i most street riding. changing header = pc3, pair mod, dyno etc = >$1000

 

if im not wrong the safe temp is 115-221c. from the cbr6 manual book..

 

dats suppose is in fahrenheit . so below 106 degrees celsius is ok

hmmm looks good ar.. price is like same as getting from bikeworkz leh.. ah beng quote me fairings plus tank cover not more than 700.. any paintwork i wan but i dunno if got include single sitter not.. hahah.. but i thinking jus wanna go 219 and do sticker wrap.. save $$$.. lol..

actually if its just a broken connection affecting the speedo meter and assume the ecm is ok, just add another wire connecting the ecm to the meter will do. cost only few bucks for a wire bypass rather than buying a new harness. if this still fails u can conclude dat u have a faulty ecm.
