Hi Honda bradders. I just collected my new cbr 600 and went riding on sat. Rode from eunos to west coast. After about 10minutes of relaxing, and the bike would not start. after about 2mins of trying that i start as per normal. Does it happen to anyone here? I havent have the time to go to workshop yet as since than I got no time to ride. Hope I can get some feedback from you guyz.

Wah I juz read that page. Mine is a new bike so might be the fuel pump which I can agree. But to always ride this bike is abit impossible as i bought this bike for my gf and she rarely ride unless to go for short riding or track. Collected last wed and just only rode once. Millage only 40km. Any idea how can I prevent this from happening? Luckily I'm the 1 who is riding last sat and not my gf.

i will suggest u to go back to boon siew or where u bought ur bike to tell them abt ur problem. If urs is 1st hand u shld be able to cover.

koxie - u can order online but price is not cheap, the tube HRC orginal will cost u abt usd $20-30 before shipping. i saw 1 on ebay going at AUD$50 with shipping u can consider.

haha I am not rich but just doing some calculation about the time, money and quality.

 

Well you will be suprise that the price difference is only 10 Bucks (inclusive Labour) ... I am merely paying 10 bucks more for BS to service my bike, OEM Oil filter, I get to rest in air con room and the mechanic services my bike without having to interupt by other servicing of the bikes (no cut queue). The whole servicing took 2 hours only.

But of course if you are talking about changing to aftermarket part eg.brake pad, clutch, side mirror etc, definately BS is expensive. 1 x Side Mirror (stock) is 97 SGD while outside shop quoted me 70 for aftermarket...

 

I will monitor the charges again when comes to 12k Servicing

My gf just collected the bike just now after leaving them there since wednesday and the result is no problem as the fault never occur there. I think the bike scared to go and see doctor.

The few mechanics at BS are very experienced.

FYI they are doing the servicing for MP bikes too.
