Nice to see the ZX14 thread finally come alive. :D

Do monitor the oil level when running in the bike, check when the bike is cold. My bike burned quite abit of oil in the first 5000km before settling down, and now the oil level doesn't drop at all even after long trips and trackdays.

MCW.. Mm... sounds a little like some wrestling federation.. Ha! I'm planning to take my bike out on the weekend of the king's birthday.. Planning to bring her out to Krabi or Khao Sok.. Hopefully the weather permits..

And where did you get your pipes from? It's just a slip-on, ya?

Just wondering if you know anything on ZX-14 and gasohol? Gasohol is abundant here in Thailand.. Wonder if it'll ruin the engine..

those are high mount, very cool look. I bought low mount because of saddlebags.

The bike will run safely on up to 30% ethanol, but only if the effective octane level is 95 and above.

I keep safe and pump 97 where available, but my bike had no problems with Gasohol the last time I was in thailand.

Guys, I just wanted to say that I live in Telok Blangah and everyday on my way to work, or meeting my friends, I would have to walk out of a multi-storey carpark to get to the bus stop and there in the carpark, I would have this black beauty of a GTR1400 just parked there in full view to admire.

To the owner of this bike, if you know who you are and are reading this, I really admire your ride :)

i'm at Telok Blangah also... but mine is always covered...

anyway, i might wanna go KL to buy some spares sometime...

if we`re free, wanna go there to shop and stock up on common waer and tear items? like break pads and filters??

hope to know more ppl riding the same bike...

least our numbers are so few... and we need the same parts!

From my observation, same brakes and pads (Nissin 4-pot calipers, one pad per piston)

The biggest ever ZX14/GTR14 'meetup' i've ever seen was oddly enough, at Thai border.

$400++? are u using the 190 or the 180 rear?

y is theirs 137hp? there dont have strict emissions in msia and would need the hp more than us i guess? 20hp is a big difference.

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.
