Hi

 

New C14 rider reporting here. Was at Looi's motor on the 31/12/08 to place booking. Hope to see you guys on the road.

 

Oh there was a C14 rider there too on that day. Gave good advise. Wondering if any of the C14 rider from here.

any knows is there any brocks performance dealer in singapore???

my buddy wana buy brocks exhaust system for his zzr1400..

 

I knw there is one shop who is the main dealer of brocks system in Singapore.

If u wan to knw more info about the exhuast system u can go to the shop

Dear fellow Kawa ZZR/GTR owners,

 

I am merely trying to set up a day ride, Singapore or Malaysia. Before getting into more details as to when and where, I d like to read who might be interested.

We were never successful to even get together for a coffee, so let's be more ambitious and try to make it for a ride!

The Malaysian ZZR/GTR owners are doing it regularly in KL, not rare to see a big group riding super fast in the KL vicinity, so why not us??

Put your name and proposed day and location for the ride, and let's see where it takes us.

hello riders...

thinkin of gettin a GTR14. But had been recently hearing about gear or shaft issues with the bike. How bad is it? How is the service and parts support for the bike here? any reliable shops besides the agent in handling this mean machine? Ur advice kindly appreciated guys. :thumb:

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Hi there, I have zero issues with this bike, neither with the gear box nor with the shaft. Except for oil and filter change, so far maintenance free after 10,000 kms and several rides to Malaysia and Thailand.

Actually there are a couple of C14 and Z14 riders out there who is not in this forum. I myself has known about 2-3 C14 riders and maybe like 2 Z14 riders. But the most C14 riders are from this group call the Easy Riders. Ever saw about 5-6 C14 together.

Where did you hear the gear and shaft problem from? So far the people I known who rides this bike almost a year and don't seems to have this problem.

but i couldnt get enuff time to stop him to say hi, and he sped off already..

 

and wrt the shaft and gear, i don have a prob with that...

 

 

perhaps the most problematic thing abt this bike is u get lots of attention when u`re on the rd.. hahhaha... no joke!! i noticed this very big difference when i just switch over from my last bike..

 

hope to have a mega C14/Z14 meet up soon..

haha. so far yest was the most C14 i ever seen, 3 C14 + 1 Z14

and wrt to the parts and stuff, i tink kaozie have a contact w one of the online shops for more exclusive items.. and for the filters and such, we do have KL runs to their shops to replenlish, there are many C14s over there..

so i assume spares are not a big issue, i also had tt fear when i got the bike.. but now i`m much more confortable with the supply level...

 

and for the shop, i tink looi`s and evershine have gd mechs for the bike as i tink there`re quite a number of C14s that came out from the shops, not to mention the bikeshop i got mine from..

i reckon there are abt 20+ C14s now at least????

 

the ride to KL also gives us a chance to tour!

muahaha.. afterall it`s a Grand ToureR u know?

No problems will try to meet up when I get hold of my C14. Now I'm bascially waiting for the COE bidding which is on the 7th and give and take another 3-4 days for registration. I think I should get my bike on the 3rd week of March.

i heard msia zzr group include the old zzr1100 and zzr1200... :)

can the old zzrs in singapore join in your ride?????or even gtr1000??

tt's a super nice idea and great effort from frenchbiker, i'll suggest we ride to sunway lagoon in kl.. perhaps alias w the c14 and z14 over there too. heard from kaozie tt they have lots of oem consumables there, perhaps can make it a stock up trip too?

100 percent stock for now..

but seriously the bike's already v gd.. so it seems like not much additional stuff to add for me.. perhaps if there are enuff c14 to make mo, then i'll consider again.. haha.. gd luck in ur bike collection..is urs the grey one from looi's? i went over and saw one today..

Hi C14 riders out there

 

I was wondering what are the accessories that you had put on your bikes?

 

My wind screen, 5mm thick and smoked tinted is from France, Bullster, the sister company of Bagster.

My GTR tank bra and bag is also from France, Bagster.

 

Tank decal is from Kawa France stock, as well as my apparels.

 

Corbin seat custom made for concours 14 from California.

 

I know nothing is available in Singapore, even the Kawa agent Evershine told me no accessories in Singapore as market is too small.

But i d like to know what is available in Malaysia in terms of Kawa accessories and where to get them.
