Do you think worth buying at 200 plus, was looking at one and the largest was L, I normally wear L but this seems too tight. It is rather heavy, is it a good thing to be heavy? Any recommendations?

Most of the modular helmets are heavy. Depends on the brand as well. If it's tight, it's a good fit. Of course you would have to feel comfortable in it.

Depends on your riding style. If you only commute to work and home only a daily basis and go for occasional rides,a heavier helmet wont matter much.Unless you have a history of neck injuries.

If you are someone who goes touring overseas often, then i suggest you look around for a better modular helmet with lighter weight. And its going to cost more then the AGV helmet you're looking at right now.

As for the size,is the tightness acceptable for you when you try it on now?Cause all helmets have their breaking in period. My helmet used to be too tight for me.Wearing it for more that 30 minutes would give me a headache. But after the breaking in period,it fits perfectly now.Remember that the inside of the helmet is made up of cushions.the shape will change as you wear it.

If the tightness now is acceptable now, then i think after the breaking in period, the helmet would fit you just fine. But if its too tight now, then i stand by my previous suggestion.Look for another helmet
