hey brownkai, sure of cos the X8 can fix the stebel. In fact i'm using a pair of stebel rite now. for the headlight i still use the normal warm white as it will cast a ray on the road and those white light wont. I only use white light for the pilot lights.

 

When u bought your X8 they never give you the cover for the holes? Its a curve panel that sits nicely behind the pillion's seat. If you don't have it then you can ask piaggio.

haiz..bikeshop do things always half hearted... b4 u buy tell u everything smoothly... then when buy liao ... my document for my bike and road tax they still haven give me yet... say will call me up when ready..i think need to make a trip down to take anyway will settle all this after my exam... STRESS..

also no manual... anyway nvm lah.. as long as the bike is good condition so far so good... I love it... but i find i kinda of tired easily when riding X8 i think my body kinda of long for the mirrors ...everytime i have to bend dw n check ... without pillion still okie...but when wif pillow ar...i cant even see my mirrors.... lucky i still got the habit of turning my head back to check for car... hehe...

anyway no bike is 100% perfect...must give n take..overall i love my bike...

 

I was hoping another X8 outing soon from u guys... some more theres more new members like me joining in...can all mit up and have a photo session with all the X8 bro and sis(if any) ....hehe

 

cant wait for these day to come...

 

I also came out a few X8 logo designs if got the time i post it here...

no problem.. mine also wait for week for my road tax and my ic..

 

somemore ERP bracket also anyhow find those metal strip to install..

 

lucky i paid $18 for jacky to make for me.

 

this is my 4th bike.. i would say its a nice bike, comfortable and definately no problem being label as spacious.. at least i dun lugged my helmets and barangs barangs when i go shopping

 

and i dun worry abt my shoes getting wet even when its just light drizzling

I bought mine at Giant (JB) in Spore like don hav but u can try I tot Futeure Scootering still got stock but maybe I'm wrong cos these thing always sell like hot cakes.

yoyozz...my bike is finally back...wow...really thx to my fren... from work ride down to my side and bring my batt to WM to charge... long time no see uncle botak he still as strong as he look..muahahaha..

 

disar also thx for the tips..now i know batt die really very troublesome...

 

I think these sat shldnt be a problem...i might meet up my fren also riding X8 probaly quite late ard 9-10 plus cos weekend got working... dun save food for us... think will join u guys to njoy the sea breeze and know more X8ers, quite some time neber go to east coast liao...hehe

hi X8 community,

 

i'm considering a X8 scooter but when i sat on the seat my foot tiptoed. my height is 1.55m. how can i have both feet touch the ground fully or at least 3/4? will shaving off some of the seat cushion help or lowering the bike suspension?

 

please advice,

Yes u can customize ur seat like cuting off part of the cushion... it can be done but i dunno the difference will be big margin anot... definitely will improve only whether its up to ur expectation anot...

actually another method is to change the way u sit..

 

try sitting more nearer to the front cos the seat are in a slope position and its much lower in front.. minus point is u cant get to enjoy the backrest lol

 

 

another method is wat brownkai had mention.. get someone to customize yr seat.

 

there's a few shop along the road to regina that do seats cover and customize seat.. they are mostly situated on the right side..

Ordered my Gold X8, will be collecting next week yeah! Been eyeing the X8 since getting my Class 2B. It was a toss up between the SYM GTS200 and the Piaggio X8 for me but I finally decided to go with my heart and chose the X8.

 

Thanks to the valuable information in this thread, I'm able to make what I feel is a sensible decision.
