Hello, My overall Review for this bike...

Starting with Posture:

The bike is way too tall compare to 04-07 CBR1000RR plus its posture is way to aggressive, very tiring for big size guy i will say.

Drag Race:

This Bike mid range is super powerful. if u 1 2 play pickup with this bike gotta maintain ur rpm in midrange. the low n top range to me is totally cannot make it. some more the IICA or something (suppose to cut off ur spark plug for 20 miliseconds juz like ignition module, works only between 2500rpm - 6000rpm) will spoilt ur drag race fun, gotta maintian around 8k rpm to get the pure fun out from this demon.

one more point to add the clutch assistance was good but baggy when playing drag race, the engine brake due to this clutch assist work super dangerous for ppl never use before Slipper clutch. Cause it activate @ 7.5k Rpm

Top End:

Like i say above, its way too slow, it will start climbing @ 280km/hr, if u dun hide in the aero tightly. cannot hit 299km/hr on the meter.

Low Range:

Powerless yet superb Smooth Feeling.

Wheelie:

Shock by the Mass Centrealisation Weight Effect, it can do a power wheelie on gear 2!!! all the way till 200km/hr on 1 wheel :faint:

Stoppie:

Stock Brake is superb, its stock comes with monocaliper n Floating Disc

Corner:

1 weird point about this bike, if u are not going superb fast, u no need to throw backside. so end up u can't feel ur banking angle well. the bike is agile enough to handle sudden turn @ the speed of 240km/hr!

*NOTE: Pls change suspension setting and tire, if not u will find urself corner 40 degree on the flip angel but bike is still going way too straight!

vrooooom, another round, never slow down

Knock'em down in .01 seconds

Let's leave our mark here and disappear to the next group

The loser's left crawling on the ground in a cloud of dust

The wannabes are all talk, They just get in the way so let's ignore'em

We takes off, beyond the street

Only den they'll know!

hmmmm here is another review for playing straight road.

due to the super strong mid range, roll-on on ANY (n i mean ANY) gears & at ANY speed is no big problem for this DEMON!!! The super mid range gearing makes it a super torpdoes!

example: u are playing roll on @ 2nd link with a person, u filter out and maintain 100km/hr on gear 6 waiting for the fellow, the bugger cheated and zoom pass u, u got anxious and forget to drop to gear 2 and full throttle! FRET NOT, cause u will be most properbly right behind its tail!

i also realise that if u play it like how R1 eat GSXR, using the exact same tactics and u will be champion on the road.

more technical terms is that since they (GSXR, R1, ZX10) are geared taller, they would eventually reel the CBR back in during the top end, but by that point the CBR will be out of sight because it's so far ahead, it isn't even funny :thumb:

Good review. How I wish can fast forward to dec, so that I can buy it!!! Just to check with you, when you do the power wheelie at 2nd gear, you close throttle at which rpm?

Yesterday went to pay installment, casually ask my bikeshop will the 09 model be available in dec. He say yes and it will comes with ABS option. Don't true or not but kinda of funny for a sport bike to comes with ABS. Anyway I just treat it as a speculation.

ummmm no need to close throttle, juz turn it at least a quater turn in split seconds @ 8k rpm, and voila upz u go.

HOWEVER!!! i strongly recommend that u try learn & play with gear 1 power wheelie if u never play before high speed wheelie, gear 2 can goes all the way til 220km/hr on 1 wheel. ITS FREAKING DANGEROUS! 1 small hump/pot hole = :goodluck:

Please understand that newer bike no doubt stronger n faster, but their ECU Limit cut is also more strict, For honda bikes, temperature will affect the overall power give by ECU reduce in certain %. Honda's with their auto enrichening ECU's that go super rich as the engine temp climbs

my 04 cbr1000rr if i am not wrong when the temperature hits:

168-172 degrees is a window

173-178 is a window

179-184 is a window

185-194 is a window

195-205 is a window

206-212 is a window

213-218 is a window

& with the additional Air goes in, it will bring down around 5% of the engine power each time.

*Note: the temp window is for Engine, not for the radiator given out by the meter dash board, however if u where to estimate it, i will say the first window begins @ 94 Degree on tach meter, and every around 3 degree is a window.

i still does not have info for the window regarding cbr1000rr 08, but based on wat i know and feel, if i am not wrong 91 Degree is the 1st window...

as for the ABS, hmmmmm i dun even know if 09 is coming out with the new V4 1000cc bikes anot. however 09 so far confirm that the CBR600 has the ABS (non-optional) :thumb:

u might think that hey sport bikes with ABS sucks! True i agree too but ask urself how well can u brake?

Honda plans to intergrate its ABS to all its bike no matter of wat cc with the ABS system in 2010.

i stil prefer the 2007 model...the sharpness of the look faded with the launch of 2008 model...in appernace wise...there's no doubt of the "inner beauty" and capablitiles of this mean machine!!!! just my 2 cents...:thumb:
