AMS are people who manage the spares and parts. They support the technicians who fix the aircraft by providing the necessary parts.

They launch and recover aircraft..... or rather inspect and prepare the aircraft for the pilot to fly. After the aircraft lands, they inspect it for any damage.

thx... i am considering signing on as a AMS... good prospects?? i found out that the pay is quite good... minimum education level required is quite low too... any comments about this vocation?? really wan to find out more..

UAVSS is a combatant vocation. u need to go thru infantry section leader course (SISPEC) after u pass out of BMT.

Basically the jobscope is to deploy and fly the UAVs remotely, supporting the UAV pilots(I think). Anyone please correct me if i am wrong.

armourer consider ALS or AFAB
