Hi,

Started class 2 last saturday.

Passed prac 1 even tho i was late 45 mins(overslept, the night before worked like a maddog). Did pylon twice-thrice, plank, another twice or thrice, then wonder a few round behind instructor for general riding, then instructor decided to pass me without much comment and told me to practice ebrake and bumpy course to prepare for prac 2 on my own for the remaining time. o_O fair enough, seems like i did my stuff correctly. only took me 15mins of doing prac 1 content to pass.

come prac 2 earlier today.. instructor bring me about test route 2 rounds, ask me do bumpy and e-brake, then comment that i tend to bend my back and lean my body foward when ebraking which is incorrect posture, he then told me what ride i ride outside and i told him fireblade, 400c sportbike, he then told me im too used to sportbike posture and have to try to change my posture when ebraking with the cb600 there. then, he instructed me to practice test route from then on my own even though theres till 1 hour remaining x_x

i went 1 round of test route and decided to come back for e-braking to correct my posture for most of the remaining time while he wonders around the ebrake corner chit chatting with other instructors and occasionally giving causal comment to riders doing ebrake. he didnt commented much what im doing since D:

at the end of the lesson i asked if my posture was corrected, he say no my posture is still the sportbike posture when ebraking tho slightly better, then ask me come back for 3.01 as i had passed my prac 2. WTH? so i wont fail if im cl2 unless im one big ****ed up guy???:confused:

or i'm really good enough? i know if im on class 2a or 2b, confirm kenna ****ed deep deep cus i passed from the school during my 2b and 2a days.

was i simply endorsed by my road experience or im really good enough?

Since you already have road experience they take it that you're just there to pay and go through the motions of attaining the Cl2 license. Just take the gift given la.

class 2 generally they just wanto see how u handle bigger machines...

they looked at u as a rider wit sufficient on road experience...

as long as no immediate failure or wrong course u should be able to pass TP wit ease...

TP testers spoke to my group on our test day last time...they just wanto see us clear the test route smoothly..

somehow they respect u as class 2 takers as the course is the same as 2A except more powerful machine

cheers

This is what I heard too. It makes sense though.

Just took my class2 tp yesterday, apparently the testers gave alot of demerit points for the riders, can range from incorrect posture to wobbling and incorrect speed handling. I myself received over 20 demerit points, as well as several others. There does not seem to be an issue with speed and timing for the courses, as most class2 riders have sufficient experience in handling the increase horsepower from the cb600.

It can differ for people based on the bikes they have rode, but my opinion is to keep practicing on the bikes for circuit revision. It makes you more familiar with the bike riding posture and handling.
