I'm guessing its referring to the rear sprocket size 32....

Hehehe....

Hope i'm right, cose if u have a size 32 front sprocket.... Fuuuuhhhh :faint:

I cant imagine the acceleration on your bike.... :giddy:

U'll confirm to wheelie without trying....

Hahaha....

I'm also keen to know more about 2b sprocket.....

Like how to either get faster pickup or get greater speed.....

PLs Share guys....

Its always, "Which tyre is good on WET?" Why not ask, "Which road is good when WET?"

depend on wat bike u r riding ... diff bike got diff size ...

for rear sproket ..

the bigger .. the more acceleration u get

the smaller .. the more top speed u get

for front sproket is inverse..

the bigger the more top speed

the smaller the more acceleration

for my tzm i use 47-16. according to the mech, he say tzm can use light ratio. better to stress the gear 6..

btw.... just to add on...

becos the front sprocket's space is limited... thus sometimes cannot put 'bigger' sprockets.

so to achieve higher top speed, the bike has to drop 'teeth' in the rear sprocket...

similarily, if you wish to achieve higher acceleration, you drop a 'teeth' in the rear sprocket...

its a ratio basically...

Rear Sprocket / Front Sprocket = Acceleration Ratio....

higher the number.... the better the acceleration....

but by doing so, wouldn't it 'stress' the engine somehow??.

overworked perhaps?. since the teeths are altered, the engine will have to work in 'another' way. FC might vary .

so wats the best front n rear sizing for fast pickup?

There is no best size... diff bike model got diff gear ratio... best stick to stock size for front and play with rear sprocket size.. taking stock rear sprocket size for reference...

For example, your bike now stock ratio front 13 rear 39, u want more pickup, increase rear to 42, if u want more top end speed reduce to 37...

If increase/reduce the rear not enuf for ur liking.. increase/reduce more... but watch out, if too big might touch other parts of bike or if too small, chain might touch the swingarm.. if u have reached max for ur rear,, then start playing with the front sprocket size...

If both change³ and u still not happy! get another bike!! LoL

ahahaha tks for the info dude..

kr original sprocs size is front 15 rear 42.. but rear still can use bigger one? 42 like v big liao.. later too big kena other part jialat also.. :giddy:

any recommendations? :thumb:

depends... u want more pickup or faster speed? front sprocket gear.. dont make extreme change one teeth lower or higher make huge diff...

try one size lower frm ur stock lor... remember faster pickup means u will lose ur top speed....

i think what he meant was the size for the front sprocket. smaller, faster pick up.

i think yr explanation is..

if u want top speed, is drop one "teeth".. then want acceleration oso drop one "teeth"?? acceleration and top speed nv come together..

the formula is use to compare the ratio of stock spockets size compare to the ones u wanna change to.. the ratio which is high compared to stock ones will mean more acceleration while lower than that will mean top speed..

The Formula is ((Rear Sprocket)/(Front Sprocket) x Final drive ratio) : 1

(Rear devide front then multiply final drive) :1

Final drive ratio can find in manual.. kekeke..

eg: ( just example only hor!!) LoL

(45/16) x 2.933 = 8.249 : 1

(44/15) x 2.933 = 8.603 : 1

(45/15) x 2.933 = 8.799 : 1

(46/15) x 2.933 = 8.994 : 1

(45/14) x 2.933 = 9.472 : 1

Bigger number more pick up, less speed. Smaller number More speed.. The example is to show u how much of a difference it will make if u reduce/increase teeth of front sprocket as compared to reduce/increase rear sprocket.

One teeth front make alot of diff compared to one teeth rear.. If u got alot of money and alot of time.. try every combination until u shiok.. LoL...

i'm looking forward to change the rear sproket to smaller one (higher top speed)

should i change the chain? will it sag too much?
