Hi Bro,

There is no VTEC for CB1300, only fuel injection haha....

Yea see all is PGM-FI. Think CB series is one of Honda's Benchmark bike. JUST LOVIN EVERY MOMENT WITH HER!

Yeah its a capable bike. I have been touring with it. It can hold its own against the big bikes when its comes to tank range, but dont confuse that with a busa or a sports bike when it comes to speed. Its still a UJM after all.

I've been riding this 92 cb750 for sometime now. It has been passed down to me. I was wondering whether anyone has any idea on how to make it more cool? Ive just renewed its COE for another 10 more years. This bike is strong! Just want to make it look a little more street fighter style. This is my second bike and i want to keep it, so looking to slowly do up on a budget.

Any one knows if i can do a fork swap to put in larger wheels and double discs like a sport bike? currently the braking is really weak with just one disc.

Has anyone used open pod air intakes before?

My CDI epoxy has leaked over the many years of being under the sun. But it hasnt given any problems. anyone knows how, where and how much to refurbish CDI?

Has anyone down overhaul for CB750 engine recently? my dad did one overhaul to the bike several years back. Any idea how much it'll cost now?

for ur brakes u felt its spongie?perhaps u should change to hel stainless steel hoses..saw unique got gd price for single hose....do u have a servicing manual for this bike? coz perhaps u just need to bleed the brakes...or u can buy the spare parts like seals n pistons from chong aik or eversuccess or fjk den go to a motorshop u trust like planet .

I wld suggest if u have the money to invest in a pair of bitubo shocks..

I tink u don't need to overhaul...had u run the bike at least 250 000km...Honda bikes r reli durable..some more yours just overhaul...if u need a soft copy of the manual just pm me coz I downloaded the 1984 one...

I ride at 70km/hr only...please please dont blow2 at me or overtake me dangerously....wait i change into Incredible Hulk n dont know why my little baby bike will always be ahead of u if u do that

anyone wanna sell their cb1300?

If so please contact me as i am interested.

P.S. cb400 can tag along for future outings?

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

Thanks pufferfis, i downloaded the 84' service manual too. Currently my mileage is 80K; not sure how many rounds it has gone since last overhaul. Lol. But so far engine is smooth. Maybe next time got outing i'll bring it over. My brakes, are still stock. Bled the fluid once and even sent the disc for grinding. Probably will change brake hose and see.

By the way, is the air filter same for all the 750? i looked around for knn couldnt get. Was thinking of installing those open pod filters in replacement for the current box one. Seen it before?

as far as i know the cb750 n cbx750 air filter are both the same when i did my research last time...can some1 correct me?....also a lot of parts can be found on ebay new...saw for ur knn its US$73 excludin shipping...just have to ask for shipping quote...honestly I haven't own a cb750 but was looking into it coz got this uncle wanna let go one for a good deal and cb750 is one of the few models which is air cooled n i just love good deals n love air cooled bikes......haha

oh yeah i saw in uk they install those air filter pods...cool right....u need to find the diameter of ur 4 round thingie which goes from ur airbox into ur carb..forgot wat u call it.....den get 4 sets of air filter pods.....also u have to see if ur airbox supports part of the frame so if u take it out...ul have to make a bracket to replace ur airbox.....i guess ul have to research around for the overseas forums to confirm the above....walauwehh i talk so big like that...machiam i own a cb750 siah....but love the looks of a nighthawk 750....so skinny lookin yet got 75hp on the throttle..even after 20 yrs also...the most lose 10hp still got 65hp ley....

if ur dad lives in simei n works in jurong...i believe he can hit 40k k a year.......i did @36k km a year last time on a cb400...after 6 yrs...no choice have to over haul...coz got big grindin noise ...yours shld be perfectly fine i believe

hey ur in luck..did u also download the honda cb750_f2?i believe this one is the for the 1991-1993 and 1995 to2003 series..u need it just give me a pm for a meet up k

I don't ride a CB750 but I do know the following:

Changing fork - very possible but very painful cause you need to find the right fork and do all the modification to get the geometry correct... etc translate to loads of time and money.

Installing open pod air filter - very possible but requires carb tuning and re jetting to get it running smoothly. Not really something you just buy and bolt on.

If you are interested, I can PM you my mechanic's contact. He is good at all these kind of customizing.

Hi

Check your fork set up like it's diameter

If I'm not wrong it's a match with the CBr 600 f1 ~ f3 or all the Super 4 line up.

Do your foot work with regards to brakes the Honda telescopic fork caliper s assembly are space 42mm nut to nut.

You may source for the bikes I mentioned above or brembo set.

Brembo sets comes with the older 45mm set or the latest 65mm BUT this you must look for the adapters for this like 42~45 or 42~65mm

Hope this helps

Hi guys,

Do you guys know anyone that converts 1978 CB750F2 from comstar wheels to spokes wheels in Singapore?

I will need the spoke rims to have dual disc on the front and single disc at the rear. Cheers to all!
