HI Guys,

Am intending to purchase an old CB750. What is the difference between the RC38 and RC42 version?

I am viewing both bikes this week before making a decision.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. I hope I'm not too late to help you with your question. The difference is in the layout of the chassis. The RC38 is known as the Nighthawk for the American market whereas the RC42, which I'm riding is known as the SevenFifty in the European market. Engine wise, they share similar power output and parts are similar. The RC42 has been reported to be more powerful but I can't confirm that. I've brought my RC42 up to 150kmh (with my wife onboard) and it still has so much more to give. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

I am Kenny here.

I have recently got a cb750 r42 recently, new here. hope experience bro here can share more of your experience with me. It have been quite awhile since i rode a class 2 bike. Do add me in your group 91099797.

There is some wear and tear on my bike, front fork seal wear off, need to change, brake pad finishing soon too. I am looking for a left side orig mirror as well.

There isnt any cb group chat anymore...

For fork seal its abt $120 at workshop n brake pad front wont cost u more then $50 if u buy from stockists... as for original mirror, u can try carousel if u dun mind 2nd hand...

speed is nothing without control!...

with greater power comes greater responsibilities!...

BOUGHT one in february. at first, i didnt like it and almost sold it off. but it grew on me. getting to enjoy it more and more. but alas , coe ending in june 2018. almost 2 years to go.

by that time i will surely be able to renew the coe . its just whether my lust for other bikes will make me sway from my admiration for this bulletproof bike

Mr Biker, 2018 is still quite long... mine coming up in 2017... slowly do it up n keep this as a spare bike in the future...
